Those damn Knicks! Well at least Larry Brown has his first win as a Knick.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Phil Jackson still has it over Larry Brown.

Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 42 points and the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New York Knicks 97-92 Wednesday night, snapping a three-game losing skid.

42 points is amazing! The Knicks are just so sad. On a positive note, the Raptors are really on a streak, 0-8! I can't wait to see who will be the first team to lose to them.

Both the Raptors (0-8) and the Hawks (0-7) are doing terribly, but they have a few more games to lose before they reach the team record for the most consecutive losses at the start of the regular season (17, set by the Heat and tied by the Clippers). And the Pistons are the only undefeated team (7-0) left. I think it's safe to say these teams aren't on the same level.

Marcus Camby is sure looking good for defensive player or the year candidate (I know it's early)

We'll see about Camby. In the meantime, sockfound, how much longer do you think the Pistons can win? I think they'll stay undefeated for at least a couple of more games, but not be able to break the NBA record of winning 15 straight games to start the regular season.

It looks like the Knicks could well finish with the worst record in the league. Worst record will be between the Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, and Charlotte Bobcats. All those teams are pathtetic excuses for basketball teams.
