I'm Back Baby...

First off let me say I apologize that something I was a part of made you feel uncomfortable. And that comes only from me. I can not speak on behalf of others nor will I. I just want you to know, from me to you that humor is the way I combat things. In my mind the more ridiculous you make things the less serious they are taken. And unfortunately not everyone feels the same way.

I have dealt with comments (not just about race) my entire life and humor is the way I dealt with it. It is the way I am, the way I was brought up.

The thing is, they were not being racist in my point of view. They were not denying me a job, a viewpoint, or trying to show dominance over me. It was not racism because they were not being hateful or intolerant of me.
All of these things I said above are my opinion and how I saw it. I do feel horrible that you feel that is what was going on, or my inability to react to it the way you felt I should have.

You have your feelings and I have mine. I respect your point of view I can only hope that you can respect mine. I will admit that there perhaps is a point of breaking, where it goes to far. I will try my best to recognize that and I certainly hope this will not turn you off from my show or any other show on TMF Radio.

Again, please understand that not everyone is that way. When I do a radio show, most of the time I am in "entertainment mode" and often times play up certain angles. And while it is not everyone's cup of tea, it is something that happens.

Lastly I will say thank you for pointing out something that made you feel uncomfortable. The only way we can solve things or even know that someone is feeling bothered by something they heard is feedback.
