I feel like blogging. I'm not sure why, but I just do. Between being a full-time student and full-time worker, I've been so busy since February, with little time for anything extra-curricular, except for eating and sleeping! I wanna take a little time to write something that DOESN'T pertain to a required school assignment, and I've got a little spare time to do so.
The stress and fear of foreclosure seems like a waning nightmare. After we did our taxes, we got caught up with our bills, and still had some money left over for breathing room. Also, the VA came through with the Post 9/11 GI Bill, so as long as I'm in school, I have no fear of my mortgage becoming delinquent again, until my wife gets steady employment.
At work, I recently applied for a new training position. I didn't get the position, but that really doesn't bother me, because all the training I would have had to go through (traveling to multiple states, for several weeks!) would be smack dab in the middle of my classes. Instead, I got selected to be a "life coach", which would be an assistant to the trainer, and would involve hands-on type training, which I prefer. I'd much rather train by example than maintain records all day.
Through the past few weeks, my wife, finished with her dental assisting classes, participated in an externship that could have lead to employment. At first, she liked the environment, because it's a small practice with steady patient flow, which is conducive to a good hands-on learning experience. The doctor, a former military dentist, liked my wife's initiative around the office. He's a very thorough dentist
