...and I just felt that I HAD to blog about it! 
It was very vivid and detailed, which is unusual for my dreams--not to mention the fact that I REMEMBER most of it!
My dream revolved around the end of the world. It had a mixture of elements from the movies, the Happening(minus the suicidal elements.), and Knowing (I'm a little disappointed about that, since both movies were kinda terrible!
). For potential readers, I'll try to refrain from giving details away from those movies in case you haven't seen them yet.
Let's see, the details from the beginning are a bit fuzzy, as dreams tend to be, but the gist of everything was that chaos erupted everywhere--rioting, people's homes being destroyed for whatever reason and whatnot. I'm not sure if it was a governmental collapse, or what. Anyway, I don't know why, but it happened. My family and I lost our home in the process, somehow.
A strange phenomenon that would happen would be miniature "quakes", with people flying away, off into/out of the atmosphere, somewhere. At first, many thought it was a random occurrence, but it seemed to happen as a result of "negative energy"--people arguing, rioting, and/or fighting. After determining this, my family and I began seeking out refuge inside large buildings, or any structure that didn't have vulnerable openings to the outdoors, like wide-open windows (The strange gravity effect only seemed to affect people outside, and not buildings or fixed objects.). We found a big barn house with other random families that figured out the same thing we did, and we all tried to stay inside. Of course, people would find reasons to NEED to go outside. In our case, my wife ran out of the barn to chase our two-year-old son before anything bad happened to him, and I ran outside to get the both of them, praying to not have some sort of violent thoughts or anything that might trigger a quake or make us fly away.
Other people ran out with me to help me find my family, despite the risks. In the process, it was night-time, and we all looked up at the sky to notice another unusual phenomenon. It looked like we suddenly got eight additional moons, all crescent-shaped. Briefly confused by this, we saw the crescents expanding/getting closer. We somehow "realized" that they weren't moons, and what actually happened was that they were the other planets in the solar system, which exploded. The crescent shapes were actually a result of the planets' debris expanding outward. We deduced that the planets exploded because the sun exploded. We just weren't aware before, because the light from the sun's explosion didn't reach us, yet (which multiple people in the dream began matter-of-factly stating, as if everyone was suddenly an astronomy expert. Also, don't ask me why we could see the result of the planetary explosions, but not the sun's, nor why our's wasn't one of the first to go. It made sense in the dream!). I also thought this somehow explained the mysterious gravity effect of people flying away, figuring the sun's explosion would somehow fuck up our planet's gravity as our planet no longer had something to rotate around. The "negative energy" thing tied into God having a hand in it to stop people from hurting each other.
After that, I simply gazed up at the shapes in the sky, thinking to myself,
Alone, I stood there, closed my eyes, and waited. Within moments, I "felt" the very sudden "impact" of the end(which, while very "warm" and powerful, was thankfully painless!), waiting to see if it was going to result in black nothingness, or an afterlife. I awoke at that point, without an answer to that final question.
