I have made it home safe and sound after an interesting trip trying to make it to the airport in time for Natural's flight. After running into an accident we got there fifteen minutes before his flight was to take off just to find out it was delayed lol. I miss all of you so much already! I will write more tomorrow when I can hold my eyes open without toothpicks. Love all of you.

Normally my hubby would have posted in here first but he is a bit under the weather right now, so..
This weekend was just as awesome as last year!
While we did miss many of last years attendees who were unable to make it for one reason or another, we greatly enjoyed welcoming a whole new bunch of folks, some who we were meeting for the very first time. We had a total of 38 people and 16 rooms booked at the hotel! We took over an entire floor with some overflow onto another floor, and were greeted with much enthusiasm by the hotel staff.
We were so thrilled to be able to spend time again with UNY I returning attendees - co-host Myriads, of course, as well as Classy, Armitlover, KrazyDog, Baldadonis, Sasaxrah, CrystalLight, Tortuga, AffectionateDan, AylaNY, Cap'n Mad, Fireguardian & Milagros. Thank you all so much for coming again!!
New folks to UNY were BrideofDracula, StarWolffe, Desdemona, SnailShell, TickleEmperor, MusicRoxMySox, DarkHand, Waitin2Btickled, y0ungmachine3, cutejill, focus, GothFreakHell, Kayaker, NaturalTickler (Squirrel!) ParanoidChant, Poopies, Silversurf, spdr, Subtlefeather, PlayJoe & playjoestickler, and surprise guest TKLee88! Some of you we have had the pleasure of meeting before and some of you we met for the first time. Either way, we were thrilled you could make it and loved seeing you!!
I want to personally thank some folks who contributed time and their skills to making the weekend that much better!
Darkhand and Tortuga gave an awesome rope bondage demonstration on Saturday!

HUGE hugs to Classy, KrazyDog, ArmpitLover, SnailShell & PlayJoe, playjoestickler and BrideOfDracula for cooking awesome stuff for folks to munch on throughout the weekend. Krazy & SnailShell deserve special recognition for giving us all a bit of an education with by letting us all try cajun Boudin and Poutine (YES! I tried it and liked it!) I'll let you all guess who provided which.. LOL
As usual, goodbyes were tough. We hope to see many of you at NEST this year!

Darkhand and I made it here in Louisville safely, had some flight difficulties in Detroit but no biggie. And just now, like it's what? 12:03am, like 10 minutes ago, poor Sean's tire exploded on his way home, luckily he was not even 2 miles from my apartment. So I get to has him for another night. Tribute coming soon!
Just letting people know my flight back arrived safely, to the snow we didn't get in Albany and I got to sit behind an extremely cute member of our US Nationals ski team on the flight back. Epic times were had and missing people has begun. I'll post more tomorrow.

Second, fygar...you live in the SouthEast US. I am planning on NEST and will be driving to Philly from Georgia. I am looking for a few people to grab a ride and even share a room (make sense, ride together and stay together) that will cut cost a lot. If you are interested let me know, and once I get some more details Ill post about getting a group of us up there...I dont mind driving somewhere and picking people up a bit out of the direct route.
Can't wait to see all the tributes. You all rock, I already can't wait for NEST 10!!

Back to life. Fell right to sleep when I got home last night. best weekend of MY LIFE in the longest. Now its back to studying Neuroscience & Organic Chemistry bleeech! It is a good thing I got studying done at the gathering. I had a 40 question quiz today yay!!!! joyful!!!! Love you guys!!! <3

I want to thank everyone for a good gathering, and am happy to hear that you all enjoyed so much. Good to see people making it home safe.

Once again, this thing was so much fun. Albany and Bella's are my favorite gatherings every year. It was awesome to see all my old my friends and meet new ones. We were spared snow all weekend, although the wind was made of ice knives. Newbies (now vets), full props to you guys for coming out! There was a nice contingent of rookies that came to see what this gathering thing was all about, and they fit in perfectly like they had always been there.
Some memorable moments I can recall:
- Poopies sliding down the banister from the second floor to the first and flying feet first into the air towards the glass exit door. Not that eventful except for the fact that a maintenance person was trying to get in and his master key wasn't opening the door. Had his computer key worked the first time, Poopies would have dropped kicked him in the face, clean through a plate glass window Street Fighter style... oh maybe next year.
- Jo and Cassi leaving a photoshoot half nekkid in beautiful tiny corsets and running down the hall so hard you could hear the boomboomboomboomboom the entire way to come rushing in my suite when the Saints won the Superbowl.
- The Saints, winning the Superbowl, and to those who wanted to take the time to come share the game with me, all cheering for my team like it was their own, even the two girls who never watch football, but sat there the entire team clapping and yelling. That meant a lot to me because you know how much it meant to me. I <3 U's.
- Seeing the Lean Machine again after a year.
- Getting excited to share with Morgan (our resident Yeti) that via Skymall magazine on my flight, the sell a LAWN YETI!
- Watching Natural Tickler chase two maids around to tickle them while they weren't looking, and then the one who actually turned around right in his face. lol
- Operation Big Black birthday happening at Olive Garden. We notified the staff the second we walked through the door to sing the birthday song to Natual. So later when it was sang at another table, he even mentioned "I'm glad I don't have to deal with that shit from yall anymore", only to have them come out and do it to him 5 mins later. THEN on top of it, have a total stranger from another table come over and shake his hand to wish him happy birthday. Fucking priceless!
Dan, Ayla, Des, Spdr, Jill, Mike, Greg, Mina, Joe and better half, Johnathon, Todd, Milagros, Josh, Ron and if I forgot anyone, it was either great to meet you, or see you again!
Ray, Tracy, Myriads thank you for organizing this gathering, even up to the last moment. Your hospitality and love are able to heat the building alone. I know its tough to play host for that many people all weekend long so everyone else will have a good time, but you perform flawlessly.
Morgan and Xtina You two are a ying and yang I always have to put together. Chris thanks, love for the food and for teaching Katie to cook. It was very tasty and nice of you to do. Yeti-face, thanks for letting me borrow your, "tools", the worksite came out beautifully
Robbit To the sexy representative from Canada, it was so good to see you again. Thanks for coming hang out in the suite with us so many times. And our slow motion running crash hugs in the halls. You're the greatest.
Gregg, Natural, Pat Doctor, Doctor, Doctor... I wouldn't normally put you all together, but any good medical symposium would. Pat thanks for helping me, Dan, Natural and Mel demolish all that boudin. Natural thanks for being you all weekend and always taking BBB in good fun. Greg, while you died to me on Sat night for a while, you've become an essential part of gatherings and are required for full enjoyment. You're all 3 gentlemen and these thing wouldn't be the same without you.
Sean The man who brings home bacon for mama! It was great to see you again, and I plan to visit Cassi when I can and I expect you to come to town to be able to hang with you too for that time. Like the guys above, its a honor to call you a friend. Thanks a ton for the time you put in on Sat to give the bondage class. Everyone had a great time.
Cassi My cuddlebug. Thanks for running around nekkid all the time. bwhaha Noooooo. Thanks for bringing the love, always, and popping in to see me over and over all weekend, the cuddles, and even the mini pwns. Your smile makes me happy.

You've got a great since of humor and soft spoken way. The 8 foot tall black shadow lineup still makes me crackup when I think about it.
Jessica We've been friends for a while and to finally meet you in person was sooo my pleasure. I'm so glad I did my part to talk you in to coming when you were on the fence and just needed that little push. You are a doll in everyway, and I loved loved loved spending time with you. Melanie Ohhhh Mel. Waking up in bed here alone and not having you there sucked. Thanks for being P-n-C all weekend again. Flying in to you and getting to make the drive up and back together was awesome. There is no one I would have rather room with and you helped make my weekend what it was. And for the second gathering in a row, some non-Ler found her "box of ler" inside her...grrr. Thanks for everything you are and everything you did. That airport scene when you dropped me off was so Garden State. You mean a lot to me in a lot of different ways and I love you.
Some memorable moments I can recall:
- Poopies sliding down the banister from the second floor to the first and flying feet first into the air towards the glass exit door. Not that eventful except for the fact that a maintenance person was trying to get in and his master key wasn't opening the door. Had his computer key worked the first time, Poopies would have dropped kicked him in the face, clean through a plate glass window Street Fighter style... oh maybe next year.
- Jo and Cassi leaving a photoshoot half nekkid in beautiful tiny corsets and running down the hall so hard you could hear the boomboomboomboomboom the entire way to come rushing in my suite when the Saints won the Superbowl.
- The Saints, winning the Superbowl, and to those who wanted to take the time to come share the game with me, all cheering for my team like it was their own, even the two girls who never watch football, but sat there the entire team clapping and yelling. That meant a lot to me because you know how much it meant to me. I <3 U's.
- Seeing the Lean Machine again after a year.
- Getting excited to share with Morgan (our resident Yeti) that via Skymall magazine on my flight, the sell a LAWN YETI!
- Watching Natural Tickler chase two maids around to tickle them while they weren't looking, and then the one who actually turned around right in his face. lol
- Operation Big Black birthday happening at Olive Garden. We notified the staff the second we walked through the door to sing the birthday song to Natual. So later when it was sang at another table, he even mentioned "I'm glad I don't have to deal with that shit from yall anymore", only to have them come out and do it to him 5 mins later. THEN on top of it, have a total stranger from another table come over and shake his hand to wish him happy birthday. Fucking priceless!
Dan, Ayla, Des, Spdr, Jill, Mike, Greg, Mina, Joe and better half, Johnathon, Todd, Milagros, Josh, Ron and if I forgot anyone, it was either great to meet you, or see you again!
Ray, Tracy, Myriads thank you for organizing this gathering, even up to the last moment. Your hospitality and love are able to heat the building alone. I know its tough to play host for that many people all weekend long so everyone else will have a good time, but you perform flawlessly.
Morgan and Xtina You two are a ying and yang I always have to put together. Chris thanks, love for the food and for teaching Katie to cook. It was very tasty and nice of you to do. Yeti-face, thanks for letting me borrow your, "tools", the worksite came out beautifully
Robbit To the sexy representative from Canada, it was so good to see you again. Thanks for coming hang out in the suite with us so many times. And our slow motion running crash hugs in the halls. You're the greatest.
Gregg, Natural, Pat Doctor, Doctor, Doctor... I wouldn't normally put you all together, but any good medical symposium would. Pat thanks for helping me, Dan, Natural and Mel demolish all that boudin. Natural thanks for being you all weekend and always taking BBB in good fun. Greg, while you died to me on Sat night for a while, you've become an essential part of gatherings and are required for full enjoyment. You're all 3 gentlemen and these thing wouldn't be the same without you.
Sean The man who brings home bacon for mama! It was great to see you again, and I plan to visit Cassi when I can and I expect you to come to town to be able to hang with you too for that time. Like the guys above, its a honor to call you a friend. Thanks a ton for the time you put in on Sat to give the bondage class. Everyone had a great time.

Okay, it's tribute time. I just want to say I had a fantastic weekend. These are in no particular order and I'm really sorry if I forget anyone.

Back in Ohio after another amazing weekend with some of the best people I know. It's amazing how much people can mean to you after only a weekend.
The trip home....oh lord....first Cassi and I's original flight got canceled (all flights into DC were), but that was OK, it gave us some extra time. Then, our backup flight had mechanical trouble and we spent an extra hour on the tarmac (that always reassuring). Finally, we got back to Cassi's at roughly 10:30. I was supposed to work today, so I packed up some stuff I had there, cleaned off my car, and started driving. My car was making a strange noise....i figured it was ice on the tire. All of a sudden KABOOM!! The spring on my suspension shattered into multiple pieces and blew out my tire at 11pm. I wasn't going ANYWHERE. I found a tow truck and a repair place this morning and $700 dollars worth of repairs later, i got home about 7:30 pm.
Home still sucks way more than a gathering, here's why:
Ray and Tracy: You two put together a fantastic event. I was a pleasure to have met the both of you and I am really looking forward to seeing you around at more!
Myriads: It was great to meet you. I really enjoyed talking to you and thank you for your hospitality. I hope that we can stay in touch.
Morgan and Christina: It's always a pleasure to see the two of you. Christina you are always a blast, thank you for sitting in and sharing your photos. Morgan, some day we'll have to have a P&R conversation that you actually talk during!
Des: I am so glad that we finally meet after living like a half hour apart for years! I will be in touch about stuff in the area soon.
Goth: Great to meet you even though we didn't get much of a chance to talk. Hopefully we'll fix that in the future.
Kayaker: It's always good to see you. It was good to talk to you the little bit that we did.
Milagros: It was nice to meet you, sir.
Dan: I really enjoyed talking to you, sorry some of it was intertwined with drama. Hopefully we'll get a chance to talk at future events.
Pat: It's always good to see others awake in the mornings at gatherings. Thanks for sharing your table at breakfast.
Silversurf: I am glad I got to be part of your first gathering. Thanks for Saturday (you know what that is). Hopefully you'll make it to NEST.
Joel: It was good to meet you. Hopefully you enjoyed the experience!

I do need to thank you all for being there. Tracy and I have had a rough year with the stuff goin on with the lil guy and being able to spend 3 days with some of the best people ever was something we really really needed (not to mention the litle bit of alone time we havent had in forever)
You folks always make me feel good here on our home away from home, but nothing beats the ball busting and hugs and just plain love that happens at every gathering...
I got a new adopted son out of the deal (Paranoid Chant) who still hasnt shot anyone yet..
And Rob, the talk with you this past weekend was just perfect....Dont change lil Bro...You and Josh mean a lot to me..and always will..give those hugs and a little lean to that lovely lady of yours as soon as you can...
