The problem with this is that TP was very much a company of its time. And one thing we can never do is go back to the past again, no matter how hard we try.
Tickling videos have had a distinct arc of evolution over the years and these changes happened for some very specific reasons.
In the earliest days, tickling videos were produced by large producers that filmed for the general porn industry. They realized there was a market for fetish content, and would use talent they had for traditional shoots in it. Tickling, Spanking, Bondage, and Watersports all were done. Vid-Tech, Platinum, and Cal-Star are the names from this era. And one thing of note was that every video was usually 30 minutes, or even an hour. There was always a plot or story. Why? Because these producers came from the general porn industry and that material had plots and stories then always. So they kept doing that.
All the above companies capitalized on the new VCR fueled market, and did quite well. And soon a second wave of companies emerged; Harmony, CUE, FM. These companies specialized in fetish. They didn't do regular straight porn, just fetish oriented material, and as they had owners/producers that actually often enjoyed said fetishes their content was better then the assembly line stuff the major porn companies churned out as sidelines, and they captured more and more of the market. They all tended to do story based material also, copying the formula that had worked before. Harmony is a great example of this.
The web, cheeper video equipment, PC editing ability, and eventually online payment options shifted the market again. The bar to entry became much lower and an individual could realistically produce and distribute material on their own without a massive investment in cameras and editing bays, and so forth. The difference was that these were shoe string operations, without deep budgets. They also were very much operated by 'real' practitioners of the tickling fetish. Thus, there was little money for costumes, sets and so forth, and finding models that could act was not common as the entry rates they paid. Further, many buyers of the time felt that having to fast forward through 40-50% of a video to watch the 'good parts' was a pain in the ass, so these producers just focused on said good parts. Story was disposed of for financial reasons. It cost more to make, and there was a perception that customers didn't really want it anyhow. Just the fetish stuff. So that is what they served. Magic Touch, Solefully Yours, and ANA all fit this era.
Tickling Paradise came along at this point also. They decided to add story elements to their clips as a point of distinction, and because I feel they liked that style of media. And they had success because there IS a segment of the market that likes such, and will buy it. So they had some success, but their time near the top of the pile was short because they ran into the next major evolutionary point in the industry.
Good Bondage.
The Tickler in Black was the first to introduce this, and with the addition of Pricillia, a true break out fetish star gained massive traction and success. Eventually the format would be defined totally by Tickle Abuse with Tommy's self-made bondage equipment that was state of the art in lee immobilization. The added technical aspect of streaming delivery of clips was the final piece of the puzzle here. It demanded a clip length of around 10 minutes tops to be manageable for downloaders. So there was room ONLY for tickling in the clips. Buyers didn't want to pay for, and spend time downloading story that would eat 40% of their 10 minute clip. So you got the tie 'em and tickle 'em format as the only true option.
As time passed many producers tried story driven stuff, and it always does sell to an extent, but rarely does it do well enough to cover the added costs and time to make when the producer could knock out two or three tied and tickle 'em style clips in the same time. To much bigger profit. So you see that over and over. Selling points become the model, the quality of bondage, and perhaps the Ler.
As we move into the Only Fan's era of porn, now we have individual women controlling their whole process. They are the actress, producer, sales force and all else. Many will produce custom material, but very very few have the resources to deliver a story driven work. Or film it. They can and do deliver solid porn clips easily. But more then that is rare. So once again, your story content stuff will be absent.
There will always be one or two producers that do some story stuff. But it's a small market and there is little room or ability for new entries into it.
PV existed at a special moment when they were able to seize that segment and run with it for a while, until market forces pushed them under.
