Happy Birthday from NC!Hello thanks for the reply to my visitor message, i have some books that relate to Queen Victoria, published during her reign, but the remaining old books are relating to mechanical items, transport mainly but published late eighteen hundreds early nineteen hundreds, nothing as classic as your item.
I always marvel at how people in olden times made such lovely items, we seem to have good technical ability, but are loosing out on old crafts and skills, at least here in the uk.

May i be so bold and ask what it is you collect, would it be historic items or or stuff from the Victorian period.
I understand that in America the historic periods go by different names, our Gothic period will be called something else in the States.
Just starting to look at America, from a collectors view point.
