You were probably affected by the status alignment where your character "Really wants to be tickled" This seems to work like the zombie status in other RPGs. You use a healing item and you take damage instead.

Writing the storyline for any RPG, not just a tickling one, can be difficult. Your doing a great job on it though and I'm sure there will be more great stuff in future chapters not just Chapter 2. :)

The bunny is in the cell you were locked up in at the beginning. I had trouble finding her too the dungeon was the last place I looked. :P
