I don't have any favourite artists of all time. My musical taste moves around quite a bit.

But at the moment, I like Bjork, Pink Floyd, and Deftones.

Same here.I go through phases.Could be the Rolling Stones this week,Glenn Miller or Artie Shaw the next.Then again it might be Earth Wind and Fire.Just depends on what i'm in the mood for.🙂
 
All-time: Genesis, Black Sabbath, Marillion.

Right-now: Bonnie Raitt, Bad English, Kingdom Come.
 
It is hard for me to limit to who is my favorite bands because I like so many

but right now it is The Wildhearts, Opeth and The Gathering..but of course it

is always subject to change.
 
All time? Can't say. Music taste changes so much.

At the moment: Combichrist, Aesthetic Perfection, Grendel.
 
my favourites change depending on my mood and time in my life, therefore i don't have any all-time faves, but at the moment i really dig Gorillaz, Dead Can Dance and Pink Floyd. there are, of course, bands i always have and always will adore, but my favourites kind of rotate.

Dear Flocky, over here in the UK we have a thing called "Google". It may not have reached the US yet but when its does, all you have to do is what we call "copy and paste" (using a "mouse") the names in to "Google". As if by magic, "Google" will answer your query.

I thought the thread asked for peoples favourite bands, it was not entitled, "Name bands or musicians that Flock of seagulls has heard of"

Does it follow that my choices are of no value simply because you have not heard of them?

Talk about putting words in people's mouth. But since you're asking, I think there's value because one of them wrote the Frasier theme song, and I wholeheartedly enjoy that show.

Favorite 3 ever: Brand new, red hot chili peppers, Jimmy Buffett
Favorite 3 currently: Sigur ros, jimmy eat world, DMB
 
Like many others, my favorites are constantly changing, but currently I would have to say Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage, and Dropkick Murphys.

50watthead, I'm really in a metal kick lately.

I also love reggae. Easy Star AllStars just released their full cover of Sgt Peppers (the also did Dark Side of the Moon) and their stuff is brilliant. 10' Ganja Plant, Gorillaz,

I like all kinds of music. Except country. I try and try to get into country, but the boot don't fit.
 
Mine changes every week. This week its probably Jane's Addiiction or 3 doors down.
