Its Alive!

Yeah!!! Thanks Queen - I knew this baby wasn't gone yet!
Now .... are we going to hit 10,000 views tonight .... I think we are!!

Here is something new - I lost the name of the artist, but the work was featured in last years Human Rights Campaign's charity auction.

Ideas!!

Msr le Directoire wrote above about the movie "Salome":
The movie version was done by Ken Russell one of my favorite directors (TOMMY, GOTHIC). . . "

OMG, Director - wouldn't "Gothic" be another great movie to add tickling into??!!
Byron, Shelley, and tickling on a dark and stormy night . . . .

Hey Bandito - sounds like an idea that might be up your graphic novelist alley. . .???

Poor Pierrot!

But I feel more sorry for the unfaithful Columbine, who is being tickled to death here by Pierrot. :wowzer:

"...And now, let's tickle: Columbine, it's you who will pay for this...." (and he tickles wild, he tickles fierce, he tickles again, he tickles without mercy....)
Every time one of you guys posts something incredible, I look & look & look at it - and then get sucked into the history of the artwork, too.
Thanks for contributing to this amazing thread, everyone. :bubble:

I'm pretty darn sure this is the moment right before the tickling starts.

By Bernini. The great tickler. I mean sculptor. 😛

And also some odalisque images. From the french word meaning "ticklish ass". LMAO.

Thanks for this great thread.

OH, Bernini!

Amazing - it's hard to believe this is marble, isn't it. You can see his fingers pressing into her flesh...

I like artists who donate their work to good causes. I think we should invite him to the gallery gathering. 😉

Messing with Art - a gift for Tendersilky

Now here's Cheeky for you - editing actual master-works of art. What IS the world coming to!?!?!

This is what I think Fuseli actually meant to draw 😈 I'm sure careful scholarship will bear me out!

*gets all serious again* Yes, after careful examination of said drawing, and other drawings of his, I fully concur.

(I'm an old-fashioned gal. Can't use all that new-fangled computer art stuff. Pencils and scissors are good enough for me!)

Hope ya'll enjoy!!! :blowkiss:

Chiaroscuro is one of my favorite arty-tarty words!
Hmmm a prize? Sorry I can't help this one..... name your booty, Bandito

Oh oh oh [squirm]I bet those stick fingers are wicked!

The Patron Saint of Tickle-philes???

So Tendersilky's post about Pierrot and Columbine made me start thinking about the Commedia dell'arte and if tickling was a re-occurring theme. So my search kept bring up images of St. Vitus with what looks like to be a huge feather and a rooster! So me being the little art history/history nerd, I had to find out why this was part this saint's iconography {Queen there is your big word}. So St Vitus it turns out is the patron saint of actors, comedians, dancers, and epileptics!!!! Hmmmmm. There is an illness that his name bears that is supposed to cause manic dancing. Hmmmmm. Accounts of his martyrdom include the Romans throwing him to the lions but the big kitties didn't bite him or claw him, they just licked his body! Hmmmmm. Ok this might be a big leap here but I think if ticklers and 'lees were going to claim a saint, this is our guy.

Oh Bandito - you just tickled me with words!!!

I am literally giggling out loud alone in my flat.
What better prize could a tickle-master win than to remote tickle someone who wasn't expecting it?

Who needs a voodoo doll when you have a great, big . . . Vocabulary!! :lick:

Oops -

LOVE! I love that you put your sexy self in this and the Drunken Satyr has been fueling my erotic fantasies for years! YEARS!!! Yes, a feather was made to go there. :rowfull:

Uh,oh -- I am sorry to disappoint you my dearest, but that isn't me! It's just a random picture I found on the net.
How lucky that it fit so perfectly, yes?

FYI, here is a portrait Renoir did of me about 110 years ago. I think he really captured my essence! 😉

G - I love your brain!!

Pierrot -- Comedia del'Arte -- St. Vitus -- epilepsy -- tickling.
Tangental thinkers are so much more fun to play with than normal people!!!!!

I think that we need build a chapel to St Vitus, featuring a series of stained-glass windows depicting the life of our patron saint, culminating in his being lick-led to death by lions. In the High Gothic style, of course.

OOhh - and on the outside of our chapel there could be a series of statues dedicated to The Saint, of people caught in the acts of various erotic tickle positions - like the ones we were discussing earlier in the thread!

Ya gotta love words like chiaroscuro. They're like an orgasm for your tongue. And the art style is the shit as well. I mean...Carravaggio...wow. I have had a man-crush on his work since I could focus my peepers.

And in regards to the sticky tree fingers...I couldn't agree more. I mean from a vocab perspective again...just look at the synergistic juxtaposition of tactile techniques. Her soft round tum-tum versus his craggly knotty digits!

Egads!

And if I really get to name my booty...all butt jokes aside...I would humbly request that you check out my latest contribution to the tickling art world - as tiny as it may be.

It's teaser work for an F/M comic...here: http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?t=203534

Okay, we can make butt jokes now.

**hugs**

Kind hotty...I can imagine no compliment greater, no goal grander, no victory sweeter than being able to make you laigh.

As the great tickle poet once spake:

"Heaven hath no glory more than a husky laugh, and hell...no fury as a feather's wrath."

And if you think my vocabulary is big you should see the size of my etymological fallacy.

LMAO.

You rock out loud,

B
