The Man in the High Castle because I really like alternate history novels.

Do you read alternate history novels?
 
I haven't, unless you count A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court. I've two in mind to read though: Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, and The Difference Engine.

Are you a fan of steampunk?
 
No, even though I know a lot about Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace.

Will you celebrate Halloween next month?
 
I will possibly celebrate by handing out candy to tiny humans at my doorstep, but I am uncertain at this point.

When was the last time you dressed up for Halloween?
 
1961 when I was 11 years old.

What was the favorite Halloween costume that you ever wore?
 
When I was maybe 7 or 8, I dressed up as Dr. Doom from the Fantastic Four and there was a wonderful mask that I truly loved.

What is the best fall-time food?
 
Yes, what's not to like? Assuming it's not some weird vegan BBQ that is.

What is the best regional BBQ sauce? (Carolina, Memphis, St. Louis, etc.)
 
The best that I ever tasted was described by the chef as a classic central Texas spicy barbecue sauce.

How many barbecued beef ribs can you eat at one sitting?
 
I have never tried to count, so I do not know. I will guess 14. 😛

How many grapes can you eat in a sitting?
 
I've never had tuna steaks, but canned tuna for salads or sandwiches or what not I like fine.

If you could visit any decade in the last 200 years, what would you choose?
 
I would like to visit 1947 to 1956, partially overlapping my own childhood, as an adult.

If you could travel to the future, would you do it? If so, how far would you go?
 
I think maybe I wouldn't. I don't want to ruin the surprise.

Harder question to answer than I thought. I suppose in keeping with the forum theme, I'd immediately play the poltergeist and carry around a feather and hairbrush finding female feet to tickle in an old "haunted" hotel lol
