Some of you may have noticed a little fad sweeping - no - Swiffering facebook: the 30 Day Photo Challenge. I decided to bring it to the forum. I'll try to remember to post these every day, but knowing me this might end up lasting 40 or 45 days before we finish :/ Anyway...


Day One: Post a pic of yourself along with 15 facts about you.

15 FACTS (in no particular order):

1) I have lived in San Francisco my entire life.

2) I enjoy bacon immensely.

3) My album collection is bigger than yours. A lot bigger.

4) I have an obsession/fascination with cassette tapes. You can't really see it in the picture, but that chain I'm wearing around my neck is of an iced-out cassette tape.

5) I just got my first tattoo in January (pssst, it's a cassette tape!).

6) I work graveyard because I can't stand people (specifically customers).

7) I watch TV about as often as I listen to the radio, which is pretty much never.

8) I once got robbed at gunpoint....for a bag of weed....in my own neighborhood. True story.

9) I eat a lot but I never gain any weight. Because of this, every woman I know hates me.

10) I curse too fucking much.

11) Though I'm only in my 20s, I often feel like I possess the mentality of a crotchety old man. Get off my lawn!

12) I'm a total lightweight when it comes to alcohol and I hate it.

13) I don't drive.

14) I was engaged once.

15) Oh, and I have a tickling fetish.

alright alright i decided to join the bandwagon, blame it on boredom!

Anyways:

3. I like school (minus the homework part) and learning new things

  1. I am a total bookworm, owning 100+ paperback books and 20+ hardcover, and always has a book to read wherever I go.
  2. I absolutely hate pickles. I refuse to eat them.
  3. I'm into Greek mythology. It's from where I got my username.
  4. I'm proud of my penmanship and I get compliments on it all the time.
  5. I attended my very first concert when I was 14 after I won free tickets on the radio to see *NSYNC.
  6. In 2007, I attended a Phil Vassar concert with two friends and ended up getting to go backstage to meet him.
  7. I collect swords, daggers, and knives. Currently I have one sword and five daggers, with plans to add more to my collection.
  8. I'm also an amateur coin collector.
  9. I can't sleep without my fan. I wake up instantly if it shuts off because of a power outage or whatever.
  10. I am very loyal to my friends and family, and protective of them. I'd go to hell for them.
  11. I can be very opinionated and stubborn as hell, and I will let my feelings be known about something I find wrong.
  12. It took me three damn tries to finally get my license at 18.
  13. When I was younger, I dreamed of becoming a songwriter and wrote dozens of lyrics.
  14. I flew for the first time when I traveled to Michigan to attend my first gathering.
  15. I have 4-in. long appendectomy scar from when I was 16 and had my appendix removed. What was supposed to be a simple procedure involving three small incisions became one long incision when the doctor discovered my appendix had already ruptured. His estimate was that it had ruptured one or two weeks prior to my surgery and I didn't know anything was wrong until three days before when I felt immense pain from my side.

15.) I love the way candles look, but I am seriously disappointed if they don't make an amazing smell.
