First, please check this thread for general help with split files. If you were able to rejoin the clip but it didn't play, please ensure that you have the latest Apple QuickTime Player installed (free, www.apple.com ). If you get sound only and no video, in QuickTime go to Edit-> Preferences-> QuickTime Preferences-> Video Settings, then click the radio button for "Safe Mode," then close the player and try again.
thanks for your help. I downloaded and installed the new version of Quicktime Player. But I still cannot start the clip. The Icon looks like the Icon of Hacha.
The name of it is WorldofPainStocks.mp4 .
If you are still seeing that Hacha icon, the clip didn't join completely. I recommend that you show all extensions (in Windows XP, My Documents > Tools > Folder Options > View > then UNcheck the box "Hide extenstions for known file types" and click OK). Then make sure that you have all parts of the clip, starting with the part ending in .0, then double-click the part showing the Hacha icon to join them all.
