So Philly just finished with our 2 day spurt of really really hot weather. 100 degrees is just effing brutal. Its like right when you take a step outside you just lose all of your energy lol. I'm actually a winter girl but I don't mind 85 degrees or so during summer time. 100 is too hot for me and i'm sure not many people enjoy it being that humid out either.

Anyone have a temperature range they prefer? Winter of summer is fine lol.

I was in my glory when it was in the 20°-40° range. At work, I wore my uniform with a short sleeve shirt, Under Armour SUMMER undershirt, and no jacket, and all my customers thought I was insane for being in the cold like that. I love working in the rain and snow, because it allows me to move as fast as I want without having to worry about getting all nasty and sweaty.

It took me some time getting acclimatized to the summer weather, but I'm getting there. I just hate that it seems like I can't go a day without getting a headache from dehydration, and I can't replenish my water fast enough.

This is NOTHING compared to summers I spent down south. Nothing.

Even better: Try to imagine what it's like in Cuba. I spent time in Guantanamo when I was in the Navy. You can't believe what it's like with a landborne breeze. We were young, and we were strong...we'd walk the three miles, in the heat of the day, to the base club, to greet the pitchers of ice cold beer that awaited us, rather than wait the hour for the bus, which had no air conditioning. If you didn't have a hat on, you could die of a stroke...

Yes the heat in the northeast is brutal sometimes. Its kinda cooler now thankfully. I personally prefer if everyday was 75 and sunny with a slight breeze. NO humidity. Thats fantasyland but it does happen a handful of days in the Spring and Fall here.

I love Spring and Fall! Unfortunately, we don't get too much of either. Plus, I hate the humidity! By the time I get to work, I need another shower! I feel miserable all day! Now, I don't mind warmer weather if I am on the beach having a cold alcoholic beverage!!

spring and fall are my favorite- sweatshirt weather- not too hot not too cold

side note: im with you on the wave of hot weather- which WOULDNT bother me, if i had a/c... but it got thrown away for no reason instead

Yeah, Pennsylvania has been a ***** for heat this past week. :flatstare:

It's not even summer yet.

I miss fall and winter. 🙁

I like warm weather, but not that warm. My ideal range is 75°-80°. 😀

When I went to NEST for the first time in 2007, that first day was the hottest day of that year to date, and the humidity was brutal. It reminded me of Houston.

I don't think the actual tempeture here has hit 100 but we've already had a number of 100+ days with the heat factor added in. In 2009 we had 68 days of 100+ heat, one short of the record set in 1925. I like spring and fall myself, and our winters are generally pretty mild.

messed up how a couple days ago it was 100 and tomorrow its gonna be like 76 lol. No complaints from me since I love this temperature!

I'll put up with summer's hottest days . . .

Can't say the temperature is as important as overall warm climate, albeit the hotter days that come with it. I like late spring to late summer most because the sun is out longest May through July. Compare that to late fall through late winter, when it's dark leaving for work and dark coming home.

I love the heat....

so I welcome those 100 degree days

besides, I rather sweat than shiver any day

I was in the mountains of western Pennsylvania while Philadelphia was being cooked.
I heard this morning that Las Vegas has yet to hit 100 degrees this year.

I just went bike riding yesterday. It was 104, that was ok with me though lol. TX/

Since last year I cut all the sleeves off most of my shirts preparing for the summer 🙂

I usually wear button down shirts on top of those so ya.

I really like 70-80 F.

I'm Latino so I am tan and I have never gotten a sunburn which is probably the reason I can stand to go out for a walk or a bike ride at 104 F.

For summers I wear short sleeve t-shirt (thats all I got now)
and I might put on a button down to look nice.

For winters I just add a jacket or something.

I got a bit of frostbite on my pinky finger last winter, looks like I am really adapted for the heat now.

Right now...

Temperature: 92
Relative Humidity: 59%
Feels like 104

I say we ALL go bare foot and drive the foot fetishizes crazy.
