3 times a widow

A local reporter came to interview Ella on the occasion of her 100th birthday. At one point, the interview turned to Ella's marital history.

Reporter: "I understand that you've been married three times."

Ella: "Yes, I have, and widowed three times."

Reporter: "How awful! What happened to your first husband?"

Ella: "He died from eating poisonous mushrooms."

Reporter: "That's terrible! And what happened to your second husband?"

Ella: "He also died from eating poisonous mushrooms."

Reporter: "That's unbelievable! Don't tell me that your third husband also died from eating poisonous mushrooms, did he?"

Ella: "No, my third husband died of a fractured skull."

Reporter: "That's dreadful! How he get a fractured skull?"

Ella: "He wouldn't eat the mushrooms."
