isabeau

but that picture of pat robertson is classic

What a suprise.....Bush and Cheany and #3 and #2.
Mostly conservatives on the list with a few liberals spinkled in for flavor.

But no Howard Dean....no Cindy She-Man.
I can see why this list is published only on the internet, what a freaking moron.
Talk about being blantant.
WOOOOO WEEEEEEE!! I can still smell it from here.

(Conservatives might want to skip 50-41, 39-31, 29, 27, 24, 21, 17, 15-9, 5-2.
That will still leave you with about 20 you could read.)

Man, I thought I was the only one to hate Larry the Cable Guy! :manicd:

If one is a slobbering right-wing nutcase, it helps tremendously if you can correctly spell the name of your demagogue.

According to your Coulters/Savages/Limbaughs/et al, the media is controlled by the liberal elite, so if this is true, wouldn't this list then be front-page news rather than a "list published to the internet"(where assumably the evil, neo-Fascist-hating lefties all lurk)?

It reads like it was written by a a boring, unitelligent person trying not to be.

The list put Pat Robertson on the list because he blames everything bad on God's wrath, but then God is on the list for doing those bad things.

Bullseye!!

They forgot themselves. This is just an example of what happens when a bunch of 20-something "intellectuals" decide they MUST get their fair share of attention on the Internet.

As an exercise in ass-licking, however, it isn't bad - just the right number obscure personalities so it can't easily be labeled fluff, just the right number of liberals (albeit way down the list) so it can't be easily dismissed as propaganda, just the right amount of controversial inclusions so it seems edgy, just the right amount of irreverance so it seems daring ... etc.

College-aged know-it-alls and those who want to be will surely love it. Yuk, yuk, yuk. :zzzzz:

I certainly agree with your sentiment, but those two things are really not mutually exclusive... I think what those idiots were getting at is that Pat Robertson is using the concept of God's will (a concept most people believe in) as an authority to denounce things he disapproves of. Then they go after the conceptual authority itself (God) and say that it's not real (or at least that it's a mean, vengeful God that should be rejected as the basis for justice in the world).

So the real lothsome person is anyone who believes Pat Robertson because they believe in God, neither of which they should believe. I suppose they could have just said that, but then they would have had to come up with another lothesome person for the list. The other way, you get two for one. And you get to put God on your list, which makes you very hip, edgy and irreverant. The kids love that.

Well said, W&P. I don't always agree with your politics, but that was eloquently spoken, M'am/Sir(?).

LMAO! Thanks for posting that list, Yaqi, my friend. I do agree with many on the list, and especially with the ones at the top of it.

:jester: :jester: :jester:

Now this is funny!

I read the list....Oprah? Donovan McNabb (for crying out loud)? And my personal favorite...God?

What a total waste of internet space!! I say grow up and let life beat up on you for awhile. See if your philosophy stays the same.

I found some of it to be surprisingly amusing. Sure, more bile and vitriol was directed towards the right, but what do you expect? After years of dimwitted brain vomit like "The only BUSH I trust is my own" (Comedy GOLD, Jerry!) it's kinda refreshing. '04's had a few funny lines too, like Tom Delay being so evil his previous career as an exterminator looks like fratricide. Chenney being the kind of guy who talks cannibalism the moment he steps onto a life boat. Funny. 😀

Ideological slant alert! 😛 The fact that HDS is not listed (Excluding the "You" reference) renders this list innacurate. As preposterous as Mr. Robertson can occasionally be, no one but HDS deserves the #1 spot. 😀

I don't know why but the idea of a list about people that shouldn't be liked sounds a little bit too negative for me. However I decided to look past that and read a few of the higher names on the list.

Which I found out was even more bitter than I expected. A lot of it also seemed a bit pretentious.

It has to be said...

4. You

Charges: Silently enabling and contributing to the irreversible destruction of your planet. Absolving yourself of your responsibility to do anything about it that your immediate neighbors don’t. Assuming that it’s normal behavior to spend several hours each day totally inert and staring into a cathode ray tube. Substituting antidepressants for physical motion. Caring more about the personal relationships of people you will never meet than your own. Shrugging your shoulders at the knowledge that your government is populated by criminal liars intent on fooling you into impoverished, helpless submission. Cheering this process on.

Exhibit A: You don’t even know who your congressman is.

Sentence: Deathbed realization that your entire life was an unending series of stupid mistakes and wasted opportunities, a priceless gift of potential extravagantly squandered, for which you deserve nothing but scorn or, at best, indifference, and a cold, meaningless demise.

... is the best and most important entry on the whole list, not to mention the root cause of the entire world's problems.

Yeah. I liked that one too. Hyperbolic, but, still true.

Actually, why shouldn't Tookie Williams be compared to Nelson Mandela? They were both imprisoned for multiple murders (Mandela's was a bomb that mistakenly took out a schoolbus instead of the polic or army vehicle it was intended for) and both had giagantic campaigns for their release, led by mostly brainless assholes with a sprinkling of genuine sympathists.

That whole site looks suspiciously like the self-published rantings of some moron who erroneously imagines that their opinion is important to the rest of the world...

I'm sure it'll disappear once the author manages to find a job.

Sounds like me asu

This is just a guess, but I'm betting you voted Republican. 😀 :xpulcy: :dogpile: :bump: :bouncybou :couch: :imouttahe

You know something, we seriously need a list of the firty most hateful smeggers in the UK too!

I'm on it! Any suggestions PM me.

P.S. I've already put myself on it, so don't bother suggesting that one.

Paging Dr. Bill....paging Dr. Bill, please check your license...it has expired 🙄 ROFL

I am certainly not a right-winger...or a left-winger. I havent played hockey in years! 🙂
Oboviously you havent been reading enough lately to know Im a moderate, and a very proud one at that. I hate liberals and conservatives equally. But I much like the majority here can smell a bored extreme lefty liberal at his local coffee house with nothing better to do than to write something to try to get into Jane Fonda's panties at the next peace rally.

If you're talking about the 2004 Presidential Election, then you're wrong. I cast a write-in vote for George Foreman, because I couldn't stand either of the major party candidates.

Is there ANY normal human being that doesn't want to decapitate sports figures who highlight their facial hair? Really, it deserves DEATH! That's how I see it.
