Wow!!! I think my heart rate is finally coming down to normal. Coming from behind for the third time in the playoffs, to WIN!!!

Like I've mentioned before, I was 10 months old when Hank Stram and the boys won Super Bowl IV. Now 50 years later, I finally witness it. It's an incredible feeling.

Patrick Mahomes becomes the youngest player in history to win both the MVP of the league and the Super Bowl. And he did it BEFORE he is 25!! Andy Reid is finally a Super Bowl winning coach and perhaps cements his quest for Canton.

Hey CHIEFS KINGDOM, we are SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!!

I thought this game was one of the best superbowl finals I have watched in a long time! Both teams stepped up! There was drama! There was the rock! There was a very entertaining half time show! There were great plays! Bad plays! Twist an turns! So for the neutral viewer it was a great match to watch!

But in the end..Mahomes was balling! I feel sorry for the 49ers because they have had a fantastic season but at the same time i am made up for Andy Reid, Mahomes AND the Chief kingdom! Looking forward to next season!

Very happy for Chiefs kingdom, and for Andy Reid who finally got that Superbowl win as a head coach.

Amen to that. To that point, the 49ers defense kept Mahomes bottled up for 3 quarters. But there are 4 quarters to a dollar and 4 quarters to a football game. The Chiefs had been slow starters thoughout the playoffs, but Mahomes was Mahomes for the 4th quarter and that's how fast he can get hot. There is a meme going around that has Travis Kelce is talking to Mahomes and says "This time we wait until the 4th quarter".

I'm surprised that the Kyle Shanahan didn't use his timeouts at the end of the first half. And I'm even more surprised that they abandoned their vaunted running game when they were still up in the 4th. . . but I'm glad those things happened.

Despite the loss, the 49ers is gonna be around for a while. They were getting to Mahomes on just 4-man rushes, but Mahomes was just to good to hold down for 4 quarters. I'm hoping my Redskins looked at the game, and the season in general, and saw what a charged up pass rush can do. Like the 49ers, the Redskins have spent a couple of their recent drafts addressing their D-line with 1st round picks. The 49ers D-line was put over the top by drafting Nick Bosa at #2. The Redskins, also picking at #2, have a real shot at adding a talent that's not only similar to Bosa, but many believe better, in Chase Young. They also now have two respected defensive minds on their staff, Jack Del-Rio as the defensive coordinator, and Ron Rivera as Head Coach. Baring a scenario where the Bengals shock the world and don't take Joe Burrow #1 overall, Chase Young will fall into the Redskins laps.
