A Change of Heart For Ice

Knox The Hatter said:
Truth is, I like you too, Steve. Aside from all this political stuff, I already know that basically, you're a great guy. I take nothing personal about any of this shit...I really don't think you do either. A little bickering's healthy anyway 😛

generaly i don't take this stuff personaly. but look at your previous post to me knox, that was a personal attack, whether you mant it to be or not.

look, to me you are the one wearing blinders/rose colored glasses. this is one of those areas where we will always have a chasm of difference between us; you see nothing good of bush, i see nothing good of clinton; you see bush as some mass murderer, but refuse to aknowledge clintons bloody hands. i am the opposite.
so, what are we gonna do?
punt i guess?

That site was there long before Bush took ofice. You should have seen what they did to Clinton. They have been doing satire for quite some time.

🙄

Biggles put me on to this site about 2 years back. Funny as hell and those sig pics he and I used to use came from the posters section.

Ice for a wee moment I actually doubted you. Nice to see that you're solid as a rock mate. 😀

That is a funny site. I probably laughed as much back then as I do now that Old Straphanger Ears is the target. I think I myself came up with half of the jokes about Clinton's sexually predatory practices...

I love political humor, the nastier, the better. I worship no sacred cows, nor any inflated egos or people who consider themselves indispensible. To me, that was Clinton's biggest problem. After all was said and done, the Presidency meant little other than a small government office, a temporary mooring for his tremendous ego. He considered himself bigger than this, bigger than us, bigger than the world. It was all about him. In a way, he succeeded. Even in his own lifetime, Andrew Johnson could not remove the stain on his forehead that read "Impeachment". In fact, "Impeachment" is something that we associate with Johnson to this very day. Meanwhile, it's something that is seldom mentioned in association with Clinton anymore.
Clinton's still funny. I'm hoping that we can look back on Bush and laugh in the future. Might be hard, though, especially when his Jethro Clampett stupid brother Jeb might succeed him.

How about Hussein's alleged relationship with Osama Bin Laden? Since I mentioned Bin Laden, has anyone found conrete undisputable proof that he was responsible for 9-11? Or are we running on rhetoric again?

No, there was never anything proven. Bush just spoke as if it was proven fact and most of the American public believed him. The reality about them having a alliance against America is equally untrue. Saddam and Osama would be at each other's throats like cat and dog if they met in the street. What is proveable though is the business realationship between George W. bush and the bin-Laden family, and the deep political ties between the Bush family and the regime of Saddam Hussein. You won't hear about those little things on CNN or in the Washington Post though.

But, as a good Bushite, I'm supposed to ignore the facts and just believe what the Bush's and the media say. After all, Bush's never lie🙄 🙄 🙄

HUSH YOUR MOUTH! 😛

Truth is, I am not very well read and am a poor student of history. I am not particularly skilled in current affairs, I'm bored by politics, rather self-centered, and trust no one over 85. Yet I feel I am perfectly qualified to speak!

The Locerbie bombing happened under Bush; while Somalia was handed to Clinton by results of Bushian policies - Clinton didn't put the marines in barracks and just let them sit there, expecting that their presence alone would put an end to the violence, like Reagan's action in Lebanon... but Clinton DIDN'T get the troops out fast enough, or he should have turned it into a full-on military mission with the equipment, troops and financial backing needed to succede: one or the other, boy! He also sat by during and after the LA riots and he let the military dictator of Haiti have his luggage carried by U.S soldiers when he was leaving for exhile. Then there were those pesky WTC & OK City bombings. AT LEAST Bush put Noriega in jail.

But Noriega went to jail only after he stopped doing what the U.S. told him to. Then there was the continued support of the Marcos "democracy" in the Philippines by the past admins.

Well, at the moment we're in Iraq, & Bush Now does't care what all the other nations say about it - but why did Bush Then care during the original Gulf War? That's when we could have gone into Iraq but didn't, even though we had much more Arab support then. It's said becuase Bush Then needed the other nations' support to do so.

Gang violence increased under Reagan, especially in California (and he was the former CA governor!). Then there was the time that our freind Iraq (you know... back then)was supported by the administration during the Iran/Iraq war - but they sold weapons to the enemy nation of Iran. How French! Maybe that's why ally Iraq attacked the USS Stark with a Exocet missile killing 37 sailors.

Carter helped broker a peace between Israel & Egypt, but at the cost of Iran and Afghanistan and all their friends.... while gave the big screw to many U.S. atheletes.

Dem & Repub administrations both let North Korea simmer & stew, allowed India & Pakistan to baste themselves into nuclear powers, and China/Taiwan to bake into a light golden brown, which may end up being burned to a crisp. And who knows when - for our blind support of England - the next airplane is gonna be used as a weapon by a percolating Irishman who made it through security becuase of his non-exotic looks and "regular" name?

Meanwhile, Orenthal James is free, Shining Ice is off the deep end, Elliot Carver wants to start a war between China and Britain, and I get only ONE vote in how the world is supposed to be run? I guess you can only put your trust in the one true way, God. But which of the 5 or 6 big main ones is The One? Maybe we should date a little, first.

What it all shows me is what I learned my 1st day out of college - you can't win. That's why whenever I'm in the voting booth, I bring my Dungeon & Dragon dice with me.

You play D&D OJ? Hey man, you got taste! Why the hell can't I find a D&D circle over here? :cry1:

You can't? Wow, that's quite strange. But it's not really a game there, right, it's more like how life really is, with all your knights and castles, and dragons, right?
Do you ever go into gaming shops? Naive question: do they even have gaming shops? Here in Dallas, and I assume most places, a lot of the specialty game stores have bulletin boards where gamers seek other gamers. I haven't played in about 2 years, but it was always fun. However, my characters didn't usually reflect the average D&D architype..... no big muscular fighters named 'Voltar' or 'Enrod the Mighty' for my adventurers. More like 'Louse Goldbeck', my Jewish Dwarf fighter (who did NOT get along with 'Screamin' Jack Mengele' my Nazi Dwarf fighter); there was Dutchess von Stern, my leather armor-clad elfin fighter who carried a whip as her primary weapon (diety was the god of pain, forgot the name). My monk, Funkmaster Johnny Rotwang; there was a magic user who dressed like an actual stage magician; a druid who enjoyed the herbal side of his druidic persona perhaps more than he should have... a whole book of characters. All chaotic neutral for the most part.

Where on earth did this site come from? This is some of the craziest stuff I've ever seen! This is conservativism to the extreme!! Along with cynacism and sarcasm to the uttmost extreme.

I'd like to think of myself as neither liberal or conservative, politically speaking. But, judging by this site, I have no idea who I really am.........😉

This site is not an official site, and it's a spoof site designed to poke fun at Dubya.

"What is proveable though is the business realationship between George W. bush and the bin-Laden family, and the deep political ties between the Bush family and the regime of Saddam Hussein"

Right! This scenario certainly makes more sense than anything else. How would you like to speculate on the possibility that the Gulf War REALLY resulted from personal dealings gone sour between Bush and Saddam that the American public doesn't know about? As far as Osama, is it not difficult to fathom that the Bush family's oil interests somehow crossed paths with the Bin Laden contracting interests in the middle east, and some form of business was done? Not that this has anything to do, of course, with 9/11, there's literally no proof, but how would the American public respond to aforementioned innocent business dealings?
I find the above far more believable than the Regime's infantile, mindless assertions about ties between Osama and Saddam...and trust me, the Bush family would rather implode than let you find out about what they do.

There you have it - you can always trust people on an over-18 fetish website who use psuedonyms. Now quite fighting and give in! Ice is trying to HELP you!

I don't think it went sour exactly. Saddam was a card that the family wanted to keep in their hand as long as they could, which is why senior didn't go all the way in 91. You just never know how much mileage you can get out of demonising someone. Please bear in mind just how powerful the Bush family is. George Bush Sr has been in charge of the public face of America for many ears now. He was the power behind the throne during the years when Regan, a mentally ill simpleton who oculd barely string two words together, was officially President. He (Bush Sr.) was also a member of the same White House hunting club as Bill Clinton and the two often used to hunt together. Bush introduced Clinton to the circles of power. Now we have Dubya in the Oval Office, with barely the brainpower to put on his underpants without trying to fit them over his head. Daddy is wielding a lot more influence than most people give him credit for. Add to that the fact that he owns legitimate business worht millions, and is the continent's biggest drug baron (something I wrote about in detail in another thread) and you've got yourself one hell of a powerful man. He even stores stud horses for his cousin, the Queen of England on his ranch in Tennessee, Bluer blood just doesn't exist.

There's a lot of proof and some of it deals DIRECTLY with 9/11. The American public in general wouldn't care a bit, because they'd refuse to believe it, no matter how much evidence was presented.

So they would, and so they will. Because they and all like them are coming down in the next few years! The phrase "house of cards" springs to mind.

Big Jim,

Now you stop coming on Shining Ice's board messing things up with your political viewpoints. This board is for those who just want to lie back, believe what they hear in the media and political rhetoric, and just fade away..........:manicd:

We could be so much happier if no one asked the tough questions and just agreed with whatever the government says is best for us.:zzzzz:

Now you just scat and run along and take those lengthy posts with you so the rest of us can just sink into Bushism comfortably :blaugh: :evilha: :rotate: :shake:

See, Shining Ice, I'm trying to get with the program. I'll be there as soon as the supply of crack runs out:wow:
