Lol, I love Saffron Burrows, but I actually based Samantha on a girl I know/knew in real life. A real McCoy 6ft redhead who I had a major crush on back when I was 21. Very nice girl, who gave hugs that just made you want to cuddle for hours!!!!

The real irony is that she wasn't British, but I wanted to do an English setting as my co-writer (Mr. T) is a Brit.

And TQ's "Beth and the Ninjas" was an inspiration to this story as well.

While this reply is late, I'd like to recommend that if you wanted an actual british woman, you could have gone for Dennis Kucinich's wife. She's a hot six foot tall ginger, and as English as they get.
