a nylon fan's plea to the art community

I have been a member for a few years but have always been a lurker.
However, something I read recently made me want to speak up.
Bandito recently released his latest Bounce at MTJ and the cover was simply stunning. I love the way he does feet and his sheer nylons were unbelievable.
Then there was the inevitable post where someone said they hate nylons.
To each his own, but Bandito went on, almost apologetically, to tell the poster that the art and story were about 90% bare. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
But what really gets me is that there has been an explosion in the number of nylon vid clips on the net(thanks to one particular clips store).
However there has not been a similar surge in the art community. I think the vid clip success shows that the market is there. I for one would be first in line for quality nylon art.
Bandito, FTKL and Low Roads(once) have shown they can do amazing nylon work. Why not dedicate a one-shot to those of us who are nylon fans? I think I speak for some when I say that we deserve more than just a token nylon appearance in a comic or series.
I still love all tickle art, but my obsession is for NYLON TICKLING.
Just asking for a little more attention.

Quite frankly, it's because we draw what we want to see. An artist has to want to see a work done, or at least have adequate incentive to get a job done. If you want to see more, then you should commission an artist to conjure up a particular scene in whatever medium they're best with. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the ride. 😉

With all the many things portrayable in the realm of tickling art, nylons are a niche thing unto themselves. Some like sensual tickling, some like socks, others like extreme bondage. It may take a while for nylon themed material to come around, but take it in stride, knowing we do have to cater to our own desires and the broader scope of our audience. I'd hope you'd look at the material offered as more than a "token" work and instead as something freely given to those who want to see it.

First off - thanks for speaking up. I always think it's awesome when a lurker comes out of the hadows and intelligently speaks his/her mind.

Secondly - thanks very much for the kind words about the BOA cover. When I responded to the anti-nylon comment, I was just trying to be completely honest about the content. I would feel like crap if someone bought the entire issue thinking it was mostly nylon tickling, only to find that there were all sorts of tickle scenes - including nylon scenes (although the nylon pics are VERY hot). 😉

As an artist working in this genre, I have to agree with Sammi... this is such a niche market. I do tickle stories because I adore tickling. I always try to have tremendous variety in each publication so there is something for everyone, but even then it is always a huge challenge to balance everyone's specific fetish.

You are right, there ARE lot of nylon clips out there now. The reason there are probably not a lot of Nylon specific art projects is that the art projects take months and months and months to create. Most artists come out with 1-3 issues per YEAR, versus most clip producers who come out with many many times that (in many cases).

I definitely plan to do more nylon pics in the future (both because they are fun to work on, and I find them very sexy), but I think most artists can't afford to dedicate an entire project to ONLY nylon tickling. They would be limiting our already small market even more, and if they are not HUGE nylon fans themselves, would risk getting burned out on the theme.

Personally I adore erotic tickling. Topless, full body, orgasmic tickles. And I am in the same boat you're in... do you have any idea how FEW comics have that kind of tickling, and even if they do it's usually only one page, or one panel. So I buy all these publications just to get a glimmer of what I want. That's why I created the Bounce Chix... it's the only way I actually get what I want.

I guess all I'm trying to say is, thanks for speaking up - you DO have a good point, I am sorry you are frustrated, but you are probably not going to see a lot of 'nylon only' work out there. So when you do see an artist out there who does include your specific interest - the best way to encourage him/her is to pick up that issue, and let him/her know what you liked about it. The more encouragement an artist gets for doing one certain thing, the more likely they are to keep doing it.

Yeah, that was me. I was a little worried because I promised B to give a try at his new work. However, as I stated before, I hate nylons, meaning : it is really a turnoff for me. Yet since I do not wanna appear as someone Seinfeld would call a "nylon Nazi", I want to reassure you that I do NOT want nylons to be eliminated from the world of the community. It is just that I do not wanna buy something that could possibly be a turnoff for me, and upon seeing Bandito's comments on this thread, you can see that he understood it this way as well.

As for me, I am also someone whose fantasy is too rarely illustrated : I am a hardcore tickler, loving nude violent and torturous tickling, sometimes mixed with some other tortures I like such as force drinking, noise torture, drowning or itching/irritating substances poured all over skin. And this is far rarer than nylon tickling

Well (and truly) spoken, both to granger and Sammi-chan. I have grown more fond of nylon tickling over the past several months. So, to this end, I've begun writing a graphic novel (with the aid of Kunzite and cosmo_ac) that incorporates a good bit of it. Bandito also speaks correctly, in regard to the length of time these projects take. Between trying to get other projects completed (BZ Tickler, I owe you an email) and my career, which keeps me both busy and tired (actor/stunt guy), I'm about 3 months behind.

Once the time presents itself (and other stuff is caught up), I plan to release a VU roleplaying game (again thanks for help from Kunzite and cosmo_ac) and a 50-page graphic novel called "Perilous Pedicures" which will have about 50%nylon tickling in it.

OMG, this is a scoop ! Wow, now this is not usual. I am really impressed. This is a so great and hard job at the same time. Congratulations !

A little off-topic, but... You know, we are all very eager so get some more VU adventures in the future, drawn by you. I mean, it is not that BZ and dr Dave did not make a good job on Adventures in time, but frankly you are the best choice to draw the Vellicatrices. Your name will forever be associated to them, I hope you will bring them back sooner than later. And that there will not be too much nylon tickling in it 😛

I agree with the original poster. More nylon tickling! That said, definitely check out Lost One Zero. He does a lot of nylon tickling and damsel in destress type art, and it's all excellent. Definitely my favorite artist. I wish he would do more (or there more of him to do more haha). I shouldn't complain though because he does come out with new art pretty regularly. Still not enough for me though 🙂
