a prayer request for my mother

Our thoughts are with your Mom and we hope the surgery offers her the relief she has been seeking for so long.

That sounds awful, man. I can't imagine what your going through. I don't know how much weight I really hold with God anymore, but I will definately try my best.

You do so much for the forum and keep in running. I wish you and your mother the best for the next few weeks and months. Hope she pulls through the surgery well and this electronic device helps her. Take and God Speed to you and your mother.
 
Wouldn't call myself the praying sort, but you and your mom are in my thoughts. Well wishes to you and yours.
 
not on the big G's good side, but she has my good thoughts. as a sufferer of chronic back pain myself, i have an idea of what she's having to deal with. keep us posted, jeffe.
 
She's been in my prayers since you first mentioned this to me a couple of years ago. I'm sorry to hear it's gotten so bad. I'll continue to pray for her...and for you. I know how hard it is to watch helplessly as someone suffers. It sucks!
 
Consider it done.

My mom is pretty much all I've got (and she's in her late 70s). I can't imagine what I'd do without her. Best of wishes that all goes well and that she's back to her self real soon.

Really sorry to hear about the really sad tragic story about what is happening with your mom.
That is really rough and a terrible storm to have to endure and have to battle through. That is really sad and a shame to be sure. I hope that your mother's pain and discomfort and misery lets up and the terrible pain leaves her body soon.
Just know you are definitely in my thoughts and your mother is in my prayers said silently in my heart-you are in my thoughts too. Hope that your mom's surgery goes smoothly w no glitches, may God bless your mother and give her a smooth speedy recovery and wrap your mom and you in his love and be comfort and light in this dark storm you are going through.:dropatear

That is definitely a horrible thing to go through.
I pray and ask God to give you great emotional strength and your mom great physical and emotional strength to pull through-this and pray you and your mom become closer after this and stronger for it. Just know you are in my thoughts and so is your mom. God bless and take care and keep me posted and all of us posted on what happens Jeff. May God send great healing to her and comfort and great strength to you both.

Thanks everyone. I really can't express how much your support means... I'm very grateful to each and every one of you.
 
I'm sure we're all thinking of her.

I don't pray often, so when I do decide to ask for something - I like to think that God pays that little bit more attention.
 
I will definitely pray for your mom Jeff. I lost my mom 2 years ago this past June so I have a tendency to pray for all mom now. :wavingguy

I'm not much of a churchgoer, but when things happen to friends and family, I always take time out to say something special and ask for any help from who ever is listening.
My thoughts go out to you and your mom in this time. My own mother went through a similar thing about 10 years ago, and thankfully all went right after. I sincerly hope that rings true for you both as well.

No ones mom should have to suffer, Im not a religious person but she is in my prayers too.

That is terrible.....I am sorry to hear she has to suffer like that. I do hope that she finds relief with the implant option....but that is a along time to wait. I'm not much of a praying person but I will send her my positive thoughts and energy Jeff....Let us know how she makes out..:redheart:
