a tickling video game

Unless you include the options in the Rumble Roses wrestling games I don't think one does. I think there are some Japanese styled video games that have fetish content but I don't know if they include tickling. With today’s technology it would be pretty cool if they did come out with some sort of A/O (adults only) action adventure game for the current systems. The only problem of course is that, while a female dominating men and women might be tolerated by some, the idea of a male dominating a female character would go over like a lead weight.

Now some people will jump on me for what I have said here, and that is their right. However, you can't honestly believe that there wouldn't be a faction of "civil rights profiteers" who wouldn't rally against a fetish based video game that featured men dominating women in a BDSM environment, even if the women were willing participants. You can't even use women in steel cage matches in the wrestling games anymore, and women wrestle in steel cage matches at the Pay Per Views now.

I’m getting a bit off topic here, but I wanted to defend my position before somebody decides to beat me up for it (not that my being right will stop them from trying. Like you, NT, I would like to see a tickling/fetish based, video game as well.
 
Yea, actually a few do, but none of them are mainstream. MTJPublishing has a text adventure called "A New Project" (I think), and there've been a bunch of really crappy Flash games floating around for years.

I've been messing with creating a gameshow-style multiplayer game for a long time, but given that I do game development for a living, the urge is rarely there to keep doing it when I get home.
 
I know of one or two RPG-style games, but they're of course in japanese so you can't understand anything about them. Other than that, eh, there are the ones that have been made by members of the community that, though they aren't video games of course, are quite decent. I think most of those only get posted on TT though...
 
I never really saw the appeal here. Well, maybe someone will invent a killer app...

'cause to make anything other than a quick hack that's not worth playing except for the novelty value, takes a lot of time and effort.

I don't think you understand quite how much time I'm talking, here. Especially if you don't have a team of people helping you.

I work in game development for a living. Even the smallest, simplest games have a team of five people taking months to get the initial version out the door.

Oh I know the length! I've attempted simpler rpg games by my loansome and never made it past 1 half of the first arc of the story after four months
 
There is something called 3d sex villa, which has a fetish room only option, but I don't know if there's any tickling in it since I don't have it. It is, however, internet based with subscription fees.

Someone could come up with a version of that, perhaps.

I know that it does have models and scenery like Poser. I didn't bother with it because I thought it wasn't just a one off payment, and I have to admit that I felt a bit like a looser just thinking about it 😀
