Can this happen. Last week I remember having over 240 posts. Today I see I am at only 227. Am I imagining this, or did some of my posts not get to the history count?

If some threads you posted in were deleted that would cause a post count to drop. But 13 posts is a lot, and more then the number of threads that were deleted in the last week, so that kills that idea. I see no forum problems so I'm at a loss. If you want I'll add 13 posts to your total. Just ask.
