Advice from the Women

Right,

What d'you women want in a guy. I'm 21/m and if you ask me i'm a god-damned genius. I am funny, outrageous. have no respoect for authority and am arrogant. That is who I am. Which of these characteristics should i hide from a women - i guess the arrigance would be a turn off. But in my experience i have most luck with women when i behave like a right bastard around them.
Anyhow, i'm off out tonight to find a nice lady. Give me some advice - what clotehs to wear, what fragrance to wear, how to approach women, good idea to get drunk?

I know you are going to hate this... just be yourself. Use good hygiene, dress in your own style... have a few drinks to loosen up but DON'T get drunk,... show the girls that you take care of yourself but because you want to and not because they are expecting it. DOn't be arrogant, the only girls looking for assholes are the ones you don't want...

Well confidence is one thing, arrogance is another. I agree with Kitten here, the ones that like the arrogance are the ones you don't want, or at least don't want more than one night. But at 21, perhaps that's all you're looking for. I think confidence is a turn on, someone clean obviously, and someone flirty but not too over the top, and someone who doesn't think they're God's gift to women. Just my opinion though.

My dear, you're not much older than my son so here's a piece of advice from someone old enough to be your mother. If you're truely serious about needing advice I hope you take it and be blessed!

Anyone who comes off as arrogant is a HUGE turn off! If you come off as self-obsessed and disrespectful-also a HUGE turn off! If you fininsh every sentence with "that's just who I am", it indicates as unwillingness to grow and change. That, for me has always been the ULTIMATE turn off!

All these variables depend on what type of woman you're looking for. If you're looking to get laid and leave, stay the way you are because that's pretty much what you'll end up with. If you want a woman with long-term potential, you may want to consider losing the "all about me" attitude. Put her interests/needs first and she'll won't be able to get enough of you.

Yeah there are those superficial and selfish bubbleheads out there. There a lot of fun in bed and are great for the short term. But that gets old quickly for most men. I don't think that's really what you're looking for because you wouldn't have made this thread. I think you're looking for something with substance.

BTW, dress comfortably but not offensively. Drink moderately, and make the conversation generic at first-nothing too personal.

If she starts giving you her life story on the first date-RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!! That means she's major high-maintenance or she's a fruitcake who falls in love with a man that spends more than 15 minutes with her!

Arrogant? Self-assured? Man about town? Is this the same guy who got so rattled a couple weeks ago because he saw his mum being tickled? Maybe not. 🙂

Hmmm...interesting question...Clothes? ear what's most flattering on you. What's your best asset? Play it up.

Fragrances? Start with being clean. Some guys natural fragrance is great. Others could use a little help. Anything by Calvin Klein always smells nice to me.

How to approach? Carefully. Be friendly and sincere. Most of us can smell desperation a mile away. If she doesn't appear interested, move on to someone else.

About the arrogance thing, be careful. You're young now but as you grow up, so will the women. Real women find that quality a HUGE turnoff, "girls" are usually too stupid to know any better. Did you ever see "Devil's Advocate" with Al Pacino? There's a great scene where he shares his secrets to success with Keanu's character. he tells him, "No matter how good you are, never get cocky. I'm a surprise, they never see me coming. Never let them see you coming..." I thought it was interesting advice.

About the alcohol, be careful here too. if you're going out to meet girls, you want to make a good first impression. Nothing is sexy about getting sloppy drunk. Have a drink or two to loosen up, stop there. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps.
