Am I weird for being a female that thinks this?

For a good relationship both pardners need to be be equality ticklish.

I guess you feel weird finding it cute that a man is ticklish because one could take that as being vulnerable and, hence, not masculine? For similar reasons, women might find it peculiar to find themselves drawn to guys who are shorter, younger, or less successful than they are.

If I had a dollar for every 20-something and 30-something woman I've met who have the hots for the teenage guys on "Twilight," I'd have paid off my student loans by now.

Women have been told by society that they're not allowed to like guys who are younger, less affluent, etc, than they are, but when you look at the types of guys that women really like, it's generally the young, hot, studly guys, who are alpha males, and who are better at riding motorcycles or rockin' out with their band than making bank.

Similarly, I think while women are socialized to believe that they should be in a submissive position in their relationships with men, the reality is that women are all over the map in terms of what they really want in that regard. There are probably tons of women who would love to be sexually dominant with their men who have been socialized to think that it's "weird." Young females who are just discovering their sexuality tend to be very aggressive at pursuing the boys they like in middle school, early high school, etc, and then they tend to shift into the traditional role of allowing the guys to pursue them. I wonder how different things would be if women weren't being told by everyone around them that it's their job to be pursued instead of to pursue. It reminds me of what Betty Draper said to her daughter on "Mad Men," "you don't kiss boys, boys kiss you."

Definitively not weird at all. If girls tickle me , most of them love it because I'm not an emotional or really a touchy feely person of feelings so when suddenly I jump and react to it , they think its great.

Not weird at all. It's kind of nice to see a man let his guard and down and be tickled we all need a good laugh...even if it's an induced one 🙂.

Makes sense. You want to see a guy vulnerable. Plus it's just fun.

In my many attempts to tickle girls by admitting I'm ticklish myself, I have found ALL of them finding it "cute" about a guy being ticklish and sneaking in a tickle or two. I then tell 'em my ex- used to love tickling me (oh did she ever), and before I know it, I'm talking tickling with a 'vanilla' & sometimes its led to tickle play. Not the tied 'n' tortured variety but still tickling nevertheless...

So to answer the post, not only is it definitely NOT weird here in this community, I dont think its at all weird in general. I'm sure if you brought it up with your girlfriends, I bet some/most if not all would understand.

Every girl I have dated or known always thought it was so adorable I was ticklish. tickling each other always became a huge part of the relationship
