american horror story on FX

has anyone else checked this show out? Freeeeeaaaaaaky but thats my kinda show most def. I'm trying to get into more tv series and this is the one im focusing on now since im a horror freak. Any other suggestions?

I'm not really a horror freak, I just like paranormal things. I thought it was too busy and kind of silly in how much was going on, but it kept my interest anyway. I'll watch next week's. The only thing I'm miffed about is Zachary Quinto was on the cast list for the pilot episode and he clearly was not in it, unless he was the shiny black figure.

Anyway... Horror, hmm... Well I watch Paranormal Witness, but its season finale is already next week after five episodes, silly SyFy. I really like The Dead Files on Travel Channel. But this isn't so much horror as just paranormal things... The Walking Dead is zombies, if you get AMC... I think that's what it's on anyway. I've never actually watched it myself.

My wife DVR'd it, and we watched it last night. It wasn't bad, but just about every story element was taken from another horror movie. It was like they took every horror movie plot out there and shoved it in a blender. I'll echo Pulchritudinous in that it was very busy. Busy, but it did keep my interest. I'm not sure how long a horror series will be able to function as an episodic show, but we'll see. After a while, they've got to run out of ideas before the entire family goes bat-shit crazy and kills each other, or gets killed by some paranormal stuff.

Right--or else they'll find a way to put an end to everything that's going on, and then obviously the show has to stop because there's not much for a show called American Horror Story once the horror's put to an end... Unless their acting is just really really bad.

I was actually really let down by American Horror Story. The Walking Dead is awesome though but...it's zombies. Not sure if that qualifies as a suggestion.

i love the walking dead and zombies so that was one of the first shows i checked out

First episode was pretty wacky. If my DVR wasn't messed up I'd have watched the second one by now, as I think it's worth giving the show a shot.

Every horror tv based series I can't seem to get into. I tried watching the 2nd episode of American Horror Story when It was on tv on FX but I was either to tired too get into it fully from work since I just got home from work then before It started or I was too busy watching one of Kelly Divine's video clips online to pay any real close attention the tv yum!

But The Walking Dead is my favorite. In a few hours is Season 2 of it for me, can't wait! I got my munchies ready.

Grimm on NBC sounds good though

Called a cop drama that incorporates Grim fairytales. I’m guessing some pretty weird wacky stuff to unveil on this new series. It’s mystery and crime blended with fiction and fantasy. A detective learns he is a direct descendant form the Brothers Grimm, cool eh? Yep, he has a partner but his last name isn’t Winchester. The 2 end up fighting supernatural creatures and protect the world from Grimm storybook characters. It sounds good enough for my agenda….bring on the freaks!

It premieres Oct. 28th
