How do you get to work or school?

1.Public transportation.
2.Walk/bicycle.
3.Car/motorcycle.
4.Car pool.

I drive, because i only live a few miles from work and taking a bus is just not practical.Would you like more options where you live?

I drive a car but not a long distance. It's a distance that's too long to walk and a very short drive.

I'm out in the country and it's a 15-mile trek to work so I drive. There is public transit around here but it's not practical for me to use considering the various hours that I work.

I drive my lovely truck to work. Her name is Jasmine.

I thought you might commute by dog sled.Mush.😛

Public transportation. With the price of gas and parking in the city along with how much money I make, it's just not realistic for me to drive a car right now. Chicago public transportation is fairly reliable, despite some of it's hangups and problems, especially compared to public transit in other areas of the country.

My car. About 22 miles each way. Not terrible, but I'd like it if it were a bit closer. Morning rush hour sucks ass, too.

I drive, but it's only six miles, so there've been times my car's in the shop, and I've walked and biked before.

Car ^^ Like it was said above, it's a short drive but just too far and hilly to walk!

Public transportation or bike. Since I'm moving closer to work in terms of distance, but not in terms of public transportation time, I think I'm gonna be biking more.

I drive to work because it's a good ten miles away surrounded by 4 different highways.

Not walkable or bikeable. Also NJ doesn't really believe in public transportation so also not possible.

I used to walk, but now that I'm going to study in Gothenburg I'll be using public transportation. Hooray for trains! 😀

A combination. I take Metra, Chicago's commuter rail, part of the way to work. I then get off and walk a mile and a half or so to work. At night, I either walk a bit further than that to Union Station to grab Metra home or I take CTA close to it. For just going around the city, I use buses or the L for really long trips or when I need to move fast. Otherwise, I try to walk.

I walk or cycle. Occasionally I drive, but I don't really see the need, as I only work 4 miles away.

I live a 30 minute drive from my job, so a car is a must. I wish there was a reliable bus transportation system from here to there, but alas, no.

Public transport - bus pass, more than partially funded by the council due to being in further education. When it runs out, walk. When it starts snowing, I'll hopefully be able to drive, I dislike four mile walks in the snow 😛

On my last bit of bus pass, sadly. No more 6th form next year.

Oh tish tosh, man up.When i was in school i walked five miles back and forth in the snow, and it was uphill both ways.😛

I drive to work, its 15 mins in the car its the only reasonable way to get there. Walking would take me an hour at least, and while the buses in town are reliable there are none that go from my home there without a bus change and wait in the city center.
