No, government isn't perfect, but it's necessary. Without it, how would society function?

im an anarchist and its exactly what the world needs, not this country, anarhism is internationalist.

the only thing the state does is keep people down and do the bidding for the rich and powerful.

im pretty sure people can take the garbage out without the state telling them how.

Ya. And since all us human beings are so perfectly reasonable and calm and peaceful and rarely ever turn to violence as a quick and easy (and profitable) way to solve any kind of problem, anarchy would sure work just peachy. But really, try it out. I'm an anarchist, and I wager I can buy a bigger gun than you before it all comes down.

What this world really needs is not anarchy but annihilation and nuclear winter. It will look so much better as a lump of irradiated charcoal.
 
Being a radioactive element I have already been irradiated and let me tell you it hurts like all heck. I don't think I want anarchy.
 
Anarchy is like socialism, on paper in a perfect environment, "could" work but would never work in real life, if we ever became an anarchist state, im buyin a gun, gettin a van and findin a river to live next to
 
Government is an evil, but it is a necessary one. The best citizens can do is limit it's powers and prevent it from doing all but the most essential tasks. Government should be applied as a solution only to problems that have NO other solution.

actually an anarchist society flourished in spain for over a year, holding off attacks from hitler franco and mousilini as well as internal attacks from the soviets.

Perhaps you should define anarchy.

I think that for many of us anarchy means no government and no law enforcement. Everybody does whatever they want. (Here we picture people looting, killing, rapping, stealing, destroying in mass hysteria) Since there is no law enforcement to protect me I need to run away, hide or get a gun.
 
I don't know what to think. Right-wingers speak too much bullshit, but left-wingers argue too much with others. Anarchy is the same as capitalism: Strongest survives. Humans have selfish desires and are easily corruptable. I heard this quote before: "A slave begins by demanding justice, and ends by wanting to wear a crown." As for me, I'm very slightly to the left-wing, as it wants to give all people a fair deal, but I don't mix in politics too much. Too much bickering for me to care, and I hate that.
 
To Agree with Omega, many see anarchism as Mob Rule basically. Hell if i wanted to be scared all the time and own a gun i'd move to new york(just a joke, any new yorkers here, just a joke)

Now if anyone here REALLY believes that in today's world any of that is true, I have a patch of land to sell ya that you can start the new world on...be sure to take ALL of the criminals with you, though..
