from one Canadian to another, I salute you!! I've got many of your videos, and I can tell you they are some of the best out there on the market. Forgive me for not taking the time to read all of the posts in this thread, but I'd just like to reiterate that you are doing this community a real service - especially in CANADA!! 😀 I've wrote to you in the past, its been a while, but you are really appreciated for your efforts. I can't imagine the shit you have to put up with in this business, especially in the great white north where tickling seems to be an unsaid stigma... my kudo's go to you, keep up the great work!!

On a different note, whereabouts in Quebec City are you from? I'm from England, but i've been to QC many times and have lots of friends who live in Quebec City, and im just wondering which uni campus you are near?

It's strange, really, I would have though people around here would be fairly open-minded, but as far as my experience with The Last Laugh is concerned, that's not what I've observed. Then again, maybe I'm not being fair. I don't get nasty reactions all that often. Most people are tolerant of my project, and many find it just fine. Just because someone isn't interested in participating doesn't mean she's close-minded. It's really the general lack of civility (not necessarily related to tickling) that annoys me.

Thanks! No, it didn't make me uncomfortable. I found it annoying, but I wasn't intimidated or anything. To be able to run a business like mine you have to be able to deal with situations like that. I wouldn't last long if I got discouraged by such a minor inconvenience.

I live right next to Laval's University, where I studied myself. That's not really in Quebec City per se, but rather in Sainte-Foy. Do you know that big building shaped like a pyramid that people commonly call, well, the Pyramid? It's at the edge of campus, on the other side of the street called Chemin Sainte-Foy. I live in an apartment building right next to the Pyramid.

Thanks. But it's not that bad. It's quite a challenge at first, but you get used to it. Now my main problem is dealing with the annoyances and frustrations that come with dealing with unreliable candidates. Besides, I've had a lot of recruiting experience with another type of project I worked on a few years ago. It had little to do with my current project, but it allowed me to get the hang of the process and to get a pretty good idea how people behave and how to deal with them. The frequent frustrations prepared me for hiring tickling models. If not for that prior experience I'm not sure I could have jumped right into a tickling video project. Explaining the tickling fetish market to strangers isn't always easy, but it's even worse when you're a clumsy, inexperienced recruiter.
