Animal Abuse On Youtube (Something I'll never understand)

As for those kids. We have a man over here named Ian Huntley, I don't know if Americans are familiar with him. He was a janitor at a school, one day he took two 10 year old girls home with him and drowned them in the bath. Turns out when he was a kid he had a puppy, and he strangled it.

Those two kids who were responsible for the columbine shootings didn't even wait to grow up. They started out by killing animals and then moved on to shooting classmates.

I can see many of the points you're making, but the fact is this subject obviously resonates very strongly with him and some others, myself included. People have the right to go off topic, or say what they want to say on a public forum without being policed for it, but you could have a little more respect for his feelings. Saying things like, "I'd actually sleep much better if I knew that, right now, they were running 'cruel tests' on animals to find a cure for cancer" in this situation is really not necessary.

I'm not trying to "scold" you, or tell you that you can't speak your mind, but it would deffinately be cool if you didn't have to try to get under his skin. You've voiced your feelings, so instead of adding fuel to the fire, why not just leave the thread alone if you continue to disagree with it?

I'm saying it for the sake of honesty. That's where the comment came in.

tequila! and Meangry? Have you ever heard of this guy named Headsnap? I haven't seen this guy in a while. I don't know if he posts here or not anymore. I don't know if he was banned. Frankly I don't know anything about the guy other then his posts. This guy was an attention seeker. Like you two. He came into peoples posts claiming he was extreme. He told some guy how he could kill himself when he was feeling depressed and wanting to take his own life. He told people he didn't care that a girl lost her life, that he was more concerned with the traffic flow.

He said all that garbage. And you know why? Because he was like you two. I don't know if he really cared or not. Frankly I don't care if he did. It didn't change how I felt. But I do know this. He was an attention seeker who wanted people to believe he was some incredibly cool, unfeeling person. And as far as I know he came and went and I could have been the first person in months or years to mention him.

That's the truth of things around here. You guys try so desperately hard to paint yourselves a certain way and in the end you, like me and the rest of us, are simply user names.

You obviously don't know my sheet here, so let me put it to you like this;

I never said I was extreme, or that I was uncaring, or that I was this, that, or the other. I said I didn't care. I lumped human beings into that category as well. Want to know why? Because it's honest.

I'm not going to say I care about a doggie getting thrown off a bridge because it was recorded when I, in fact, do not. As horrible as that makes me seem, in the time I've been typing this, five atrocities have occurred in the lives of others. I'm not going to carry the burden of inhumanity just to make myself seem like I'm a human being.

At the same time, it wasn't until your militant behavior of "WELL THIS IS SERIOUS GUYS STOP JOKING" that I even had an investment. Had you gone about your way, you'd of been fine. But the second you want to act like you have a pot to piss in as far as it pertains to act as though your care for animals and your constant treatment of the subject material on a sexual fetish forum, that's where you become laughably obtuse.

He'll either admit he didn't mean it. Say he does. Or not say anything at all.

I've read every book and article about it, and my ex-girlfriend's major in college revolved around it, and both of the boys were documented as being quite put off by the idea of harming animals. In one of their journals actually, they even went so far as to speak out against it. Eric Harris was also reported as returning a lost dog home to it's owner, after he had found it wandering and scared.

Believe it or not, some people are just killers, and that being said they can still love and respect animals. There is no math to it, as people think. Some people torture animals, but can't bring themselves to harm a human being. Some people are repulsed by animal cruelty, but have an obsession with violence towards people.

You are of course correct. But in many cases of murderers or mass murderers they started with animals. It's sadism, regardless of the species.

There was no reason for the hostile response, and tequila! responded with a very witty answer, referencing the punch-line to a very famous joke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Aristocrats_(joke)). I found this funny, which upset BigTicklingFan further, and everything escalated from there. Problems arise when people take themselves, and their threads too seriously. Don't get me wrong, this is a serious subject, and I feel horrible for the tortured animals, but if you're getting upset by what I've quoted above... may I suggest going to the ER to have the stick removed from your ass. If you didn't find it funny, understandable, but the humor wasn't in such bad taste that it warranted an angry response. If you don't like it, simply ignoring it, or asking nicely to keep the silliness out of the thread is a better way to deal with it. Responding in a manner the OP did is only asking for more smart-ass responses. Note that even Meangry's original post in the thread was sympathetic and serious in nature.

Secondly my squabble between me and Meangry was simply due to Meangry's immaturity.

Third the shooters from Columbine DID in fact abuse animals. I find it interesting that someone just so happened to have read countless books on the subject just to be able to prove me wrong. I bet if I said Adolf Hitler's third cousins best friend's friend who was twice removed as being the fourteenth cousin also abused animals you probably also would have read countless books on the guy/girl.
