Hello all,

Does anyone know the name of the animator who produced the wonderful little GIF animations that are featured at Venray's Place? Or where this person can be found?

One of these animations is also featured on LaughingGas.net, I believe.

Back when this site was still up, I was in conference on occasion with the animator, discussing some possible collaborations and just talking shop about animation. The site is no longer up because the artist has decided to retire and devote his attentions elsewhere in his life. So, I doubt we'll be seeing any more of these, although they are cute.

For some reason, the way he animated them just "got to me".
I really don't know why.

Tickling Animation Archives...

If you are a "foot focused" fan of tickling drawings/cartoons/animations and are a member of this forum...you may (or may not) already be familiar with the works of Jake Redder. His works are NOT anime...so anime fans might not derive as much enjoyment from viewing his works as non-anime fans. I am confident that venray1, TklDuo-Drew, Dave2112, ShemThePenman, qjakal, et. al. who frequent this place are familiar.

In fact, when I saw mention in another thread recently active here about venray1's post of some the Elmer Batters archives on his site...I automatically had reflections on Jake Redder's works. Good old time stuff.

Sorry, but I currently don't have any links to the Redder works. He once sent me some custom drawings back in the early days of my interests in tickling, when I was just "coming out of the closet" with these desires. I will try to find them, scan them, and maybe venray1 would be kind enough to host them for the group here on his website. 😀

Yes, I am a cartoonist. I'm another one of those guys like the anitickles artist who did some tickling art a few years ago and dropped out of the scene.

What you're describing sounds like a picture I did for a good friend
who was into superheroine tickling. I believe the character being tickled by the demoness and the evil pixies is a indy comics pinup girl named "Lady Death". Does that sound accurate?

Re Animated GIFs

I thought I was the only one that REALLY enjoys those Animated GIFs.
I've been searching a long time to find that man who created them.
That's a damn shame that he is no longer producing them.
Surely, there must be SOMEONE else who can continue the work of a true artiste. Or, at least, start their own Animated Tickling GIFs.
I wish I had the know-how and time to do it.
Anyone willing or knows someone who can do this?

I agree--that was sort of what piqued my interest. I wanted to make one (or help make one.) Unfortunately I don't know how to do GIF animations. I do not know any 2D animation
programs that are user-friendly. (I certainly wouldn't call FLASH user-friendly.)
