High heels, nylons and robotic hands spell trouble for this naive young secretary working at a high tech industrial applications lab.
I don't often do double-panel scenes but this one demanded it and I really like how it turned out.
To give you an idea though of how long these type of drawings sometimes take to "ferment", I started the original one in September of 2003! It was just a rough picture of a woman wearing a business jacket and short skirt, sitting at a small table with her legs crossed.
From there I tried putting her in several different situations and other types of attire but could never settle on any one scene. So, procrastinator that I am, it languished a long time until a day when I flipped her on her back with her feet in the air. Everything crystallized after that but it still took a while to work out the details and exact dialogue (simple though it may seem!).
Enjoy!
