I have a friend with a couple of Rottweilers.

And I love those dogs.

So to be serious on this thread finally... I'd have to say that Rottweilers are my favorite breed of dog!

I love the Great Dane. They're so large, graceful, and goofy at the same time! 😛 Before I was married, I had never owned pets. My wife ended up brainwashing me into letting her get a cat, twice! It took even longer to convince me to let a dog in the home. It ended up that we could get a dog if I chose the breed. I had a friend at work who breeds Great Danes, and it just so happened that he just had a litter of puppies. That was almost a year ago. Ginger's already over 100 lbs., and she's still got another full year of growth to go! We can't wait until she's full-sized. The only bad thing is Great Danes also have short lifespans. They typically only live 7-10 years. 🙁 That tends to happen with exceptionally large breeds.

I love dogs, generally. But I tend to lean toward poodles & cockapoos. (Aw, shucks; hell, I like pretty much any of the consensus top 10 breeds 😀 ).
