Anyone here watch Mad Men?

One of the very, very best shows on basic cable/television now IMO. I had a screener copy and watched the first episode and was so completely hooked I went and got the DVD boxset just to get the remaining episodes and special features:

The characters, dialogue, story, everything is so well written.

And January Jones is absolutely killer. 😉

It's good. Very good. But also I think it might be the type of show that you can't just tune in and "get" without having watched the first season. It's worth it though.

Put it on your Netflix queue if you can.

Yes! I love Mad Men. I find the historical aspect of it fascinating. Did they really do that much smoking and drinking? It seems to go a little overboard, but then again, I wasn't around during that time.

I love Joan! To me she's one of the most interesting characters on the show.

I almost wanna smoke and drink while I watch the show. In fact, that would make the perfect drinking/smoking game. Light one up and take a swig whenever they do. I'd be drunk though after one episode.

Joan is awesome. For whatever reason, she reminds me of a bird. I like Don (obviously), Pete (great job making this guy likeable), Betty...I guess I like everyone. Great cast, great acting, great writing, great show.
