Are blondes less ticklish?

Now before everyone starts jumping all over me, I do love blondes, but I also love brunettes, redheads, black, latino and asian women as well. It's just been my observation that of all the blonde women I've had a chance to tickle, a good portion of them(about half) are not very ticklish especially the feet. It's probably just coincidence, but many blonde celebrities are either not ticklish or marginally ticklish(as far as the feet are concerned). I'm referring to Brande Roderick, Gina Lee Nolan(who said she's only ticklish on the back of her knees), Kisrten Dunst(who I believe said she's primarily ticklish on her sides)Nina Hartley(only the armpits), Pam Anderson(who only seemed to be slightly ticklish, when Howard got her in the chair)and Victoria Silvstedt. I was also going to add everyone's favorite ditz, Jessica Simpson, who recently said she was only ticklish in her groin, but there's been some conflicting info about that. Now I know there are exceptions - Paula Devicq, Trish Stratus, and Cindy Margolis, Cameron Diaz - and I also know I'll get some negative feedback, like " what difference does it make if they're blonde or not, as long as they're ticklish!" It's just a pattern that I've noticed, and was just looking for feedback.

Regarding the dumb blonde thing, I'm not sure how accurate this is, but it may be that blondes simply don't KNOW they're supposed to be ticklish.

My apologies in advance to the myriad of blondes I have possibly offended.

You know, getting back to the original post, and Jessica Simpson. I'm not sure if she's really the fumb duck she appears to be, but I wonder if (in addition to hair clolor), intelligence has any bearing on ticklishness. Is it possible the dumber one is, the less ticklish? Hmmmm (scratching chin)

P.S. I need more information regarding the "You have NO idea." comment. Please, do tell. I wish to learn. 😉

What ShadowTklr said about intelligence and ticklishness brought back a memory; I remembered that very subject was raised a while back in a Marilyn vos Savant column in Parade magazine, and in the column, Marilyn indirectly admitted to being ticklish. Wish I could find that article to post, but it was many years ago and probably doesn't exist online.

OK, you may go back to discussing the blondes now. 😀

Here's my two cents. I dont know if blondes are necessarily less ticklish, as I've known a couple of blondes in real life, my friends Lora and Stacy in college, who were incredibly ticklish. I've also talked to several blondes on here who claim to be very ticklish, but that being said, I have also read claims where they said that the most ticklish girls tend to be redheads, for some reason. I dont know why this is so, but this is the claim. I havent known too many redheads in real life, just one in college, and she was horribly ticklish, as her boyfriend and many of her friends used to get her all the time.
So, in summary, from what I've heard, redheads are supposedly the most ticklish of all hair colors when it comes to girls, but this is only based on conversation and this one college experience, and not on many experiences for me, so my opinion is based on a limited amount of opportunities

One difficlty here is the definiton of a blond. Many with blond hair are not natural. If by blond, one means fair skin, blue eyes and naturally light hair (but not necessarily golden or the like), my experience is that these folks of either gender tend to be highly ticklish like red heads. And then to further complicate the issue we have strawberry blonds.

I've had blonde girlfriends, all of them were very ticklish...
But I think with beautiful gils it's more the fact of not loosing their control I think.. the charisma and self confidence you know..

Well, here's something to think about. What if the same genes responsible for ticklishness sensitivity are also corralative to hair color - just by coincidence? Huh? Huh? It could be genetic.

Hey it's only a hair color! I use to think that redheads were the most ticklish until I met a non-ticklish one too.

I dated a couple of blondes in my life who were wickedly ticklish and there were many tie/tickle experiences with them where the reactions were off the scales. Furthermore I knew several brunettes who weren't ticklish or not so ticklish that they could hold it in without a smile.

I think it's in the genes (or 'jeans' if that's your tickling focus).
