Are Redheads Unusually Ticklish?

I think so. I know a couple of redheads, and they, like me, are excruciatingly ticklish. More so than most people I know. One of them is in a whole family of redheads, and every single one of them respond to the slightest touch. It's cute. By the way, my natural hair color is very similar to that in my sig pic.
 
I'm not that ticklish, so your whole theory behind this thread is BLOWN!!
 
The whole red head thing has been around for a while.
My first girlfriend had red hair and was off the scale ticklish.
And I struggle to think of a red haired female who I know who isn't.
As much as I don't normally believe that ticklishness can be measured by hair colour, etc.
It does make you wonder!!! 🙄
 
I have thought about this myself.

Personnally I have never met a redhead that I found was not ticklish.
As far as race goes, I have found that a very high percentage of the hispanics, african americans and asians I have attempted to tickle are ticklish.

As an "ebony" woman, the question I get asked by all my men has been "where aren't you ticklish??" Then the potential ler in them comes out and I become the test subject in a horribly ticklish experiment!

I had one former SO tell me he was fascinated to find out he could work me up to the point he could just blow on me to get my in hysterics! Wow, those were some fun times.........:tickle:

This redhead thread gets unearthed a couple times a year! I guess everyone has their "who's more ticklish" theories huh?
 
I have heard that redheads have a lower pain threshold wether that has to do with being ticklish I am not sure

I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove redheads. They are my kryptonite:cool2:

Redheads are extremely rare. Most of them are just brunettes with a good dye job (myself included in that group 🙂).

That said, while redheads may be more pale and thus more sensitive to UV rays, I don't think that has any connection to ticklishness.

All people are either ticklish or not ticklish.

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble or kill anyone's fantasy.

well coming from a tickling producer's standpoint i have yet to see any difference between ticklishness and hair color..lol

If you think redheads are super ticklish you should see how ticklish asians are and even dark skinned asians so there goes the theory about light skin people being more ticklish.

I really think its a toss of the dice , your born that way and there is no correlation or scientific proof to back up or measure what skin color , hair color or race in general is the most ticklish.

No, I'm assuming my theory/opinion makes more sense than the idea that redheads are more ticklish than those with other hair colors, since that is obviously ridiculous.

I think most people are pretty aware that hair color doesn't have an effect on one's sensitivity to tickling. At least they should be. I personally found this a fun post to play around with, regardless.
