4 parts water to one part pure cane sugar. That the best for widdle hummer birdies. 😀

Widdle hummers need lots of sugar but for they also need protein so they also eat bugs. 🙂 The sugar gives them the energy to flap their widdle wings so fast. Daddy said a person we need to consume about 155,000 calories to do what the widdle hummers do.

Been good up to now but its suppose to be getting very hot again. 🙁

Daddy give us cool water to water us and and he give us quick little water showers with the hose to keep the temperature down. :wub:

Yup. It was a 103 degrees today in the shade. 😱 Tomorrow is suppose to be even hotter. :yowzer:

Not yet. Daddy had to take time out to help a couple of widdle baby trees. When it gets real hot there is a sneaky bug that can kill a whole tree in a day or two. It forms a small little barnacles so its really hard to notice. Daddy lost one tree a few months ago to those bugs. 🙁 Daddy very worried about these two.

Not been easy. 🙁 There is a nasty barnacle like bug that seems to attack us widdle trees when its hot. Daddy spent lots of time yesterday and today helping us. One tree past away last time that happened. Takes only a day for a tree to be overwhelmed by bugs. 🙁
