How do you put a picture under your posts like the gentleman before me has a Slipknot cover on his? I want a picture of Charles Manson where there are a bunch of on the web. Can someone tell me how to do it? My PC is a piece of shit however.

We allow signature images. Some of which can get quite lengthy, to the point of a one line poet ending up taking an entire few screens to scroll past. We like to suggest that they should be no longer then your average one screen post.
Since many users are on dial up, we try to limit the graphic hit they take when loading a page. Some threads in the sillystuff forum can take up to 5 minutes for me to load because of all the various sig stuff. If avitars were added that could well double, It's not happening.

To add an image to your signature, you need to first upload it to space that allows hotlinking. Here's a free place that allows it if you don't already have one... http://img1.imageshack.us
You can either sign up or use it annonymously. If you do the latter, you just need to bookmark the images you want to use.
Once you've uploaded the image, you simply insert the link into your signature inside the image code. The finished code should look like this...
[imx]http://img76.exs.cx/img76/8753/respect1tc.gif[/imx]
...but with a "G" instead of an "X" The result in this case is...
