Well, I'm finally back after a nightmare week with my computer. Last Saturday night, the machine started freezing. I tried everything to clean it out, full virus scans, etc. Nothing worked. So, yesterday, I had to contact a computer specialist. It turns out I had a piece of adware on my computer. I was also told to ditch Norton Antivirus, and switch to Agast. (Hope I spelled that right). Anyhow, my computer is working fine now, and the side toolbar, which had also been giving me a problem since last summer, is also fixed. The machine is just like new. I also love the fact that my new antivirus program runs all the time, so I dont have to do the weekly Friday night scan with Norton.

Anyhow, it's good to be back. Thanks to everyone who was so helpful to me during my computer troubles.

When I had some problems back in December, I ditched Norton also and installed CA Security Center and it's been fine since then.

For those with security questions I highly reccomend Wilders Security forum. Lots of very helpful people there and lots of programs out there aside from Norton and Mcafee that one can use that work very well. Link is below.
