OK, for what its worth, the Sox are making it a series, but as the old song goes, too little, too late😀

You guys don't really think the Yankees will lose four in a row, do you??
 
Uh, guys....it's the Boston Red Sox we're talking about here...

What does that mean?

It means, this series is going seven games. It will be tied in the bottom of the ninth, and Miguel Cairo will come up to bat and hit a walk off homer after A-Rod and Jeter and Sheffield have gone hitless for the evening...

Don't tell me this scenario isn't plausible!!! 😛

Maybe I'm going to sound like a traitor here, because I was born in NY and lived in the area 29 years, but I truly hope the Sox win tomorrow night, and get to the series, and win the whole thing. It is time after 86 years! I was on the edge of my seat in 1986 when the Sox imploded in Game 6 of the World Series. (And just for that year, I was actually rooting for the Mets, because we had tickets for Game 7, and I wanted to go, and see the Mets win in person, which is how it happened, so I was happy)
Back to the Sox. What they have done is amazing. I honestly thought after Game 3 that they would be swept, or at most, done in five. To win two games as they did in Boston, and especially Game 5 with how it went, and then to do what they did tonight is amazing. Of course, it could all come to be moot if the Yankees win tomorrow. One has to think, though, that with how this series has gone, that it would be the Yankees on the defensive tomorrow night. My Braves did a horrid thing in 1996 after blasting the Yankees the first two games in the Bronx as they did, and then losing four straight. It was humiliating, and eight years later, they still havent atoned for that screw up. Of course, it's not over, and the Yankees could pull it out tomorrow, but if the Sox do win, this win by the Sox would be one of the best in pro sports history, and the Yankees choke would be worse than any Braves choke or any other choke in history.
So, Go to it Sox, go get em tomorrow night, and finish the job of making King George and his Yankees have the most imfamous choke in pro sports history!

I have an antedote for FOX and their stupidity, their moronic game intros, and their annoying announcers. I just turn on the game at 8:05-8:10, managing to avoid stupid Star Wars comparisons and Johnny Damon as Chewbacca, and instead of having to listen to the endless, sickening supercilliousness and sanctimony of Tim McCarver, I turn the sound off, and play CDs on my stereo. It's entertaining, there's a silent Tim McCarver there, standing next to Joe Buck, yacking away, while Barenaked Ladies plays in the background. A vast improvement.
 
Tonight, we are about to witness the biggest choke in history. History will be made tonight, as for the first time, a team comes back from a 3-0 hole, and win the series, and how appropriate, the Evil Empire will provide the infamy😀

Will somebody please TRY to explain to me what the hell Torre (that's right with 2 R's) was thinking when he started Brown in Game 7 when he pitched a combined 2 innings in his last 2 starts against Boston. I'm all ears!!

Ray, 3 more outs to a World Series. Congrats pal. Iam happy for you. Iam also happy because the Braves have always been called the biggest postseason chokers in history. Well, even they have never blown a 3-0 series lead like the Yankees are hopefully about to. This shows that not even 200 million can buy Mr George Michael SteinBUYER a World Series. This will be sweet. I sincerely hope the Sox can break the curse and give you guys the first World Championship since 1918. It would be about time for the Sox.

Mitch....even if the Sox were to enter and win the series it wouldnt mean anything compared to the comeback against the Yankees...

This is what we Sox fans live for......the chance to look at the Yankee fans and say..."better luck next year!"
