yeah, I don't think I know any non-ticklephile women who get turned on from being tickled on the knees, or get an orgasm from it.. but i have known non-ticklephile women who get turned on from the thighs being tickled, not from the tickling but from that it's her thighs so tickling them there turns them on...
 
ahhh yes, the back of the knees..... that it is one of those spots that you tend to forget about-- until its too late lol....

The back of the knees does seem to be a pretty common tickle spot...most girls that I've tickled who have ticklish feet are also ticklish behind the knees, although usually to a much lesser extent.

Hmmm...interesting...a perennial topic of debate on the TMF is whether one gender tends to be more ticklish than the other, with the usual consensus being that gender isn't a determining factor in one's level of ticklishness. Maybe a better question is this: do certain spots tend to be more ticklish on women than on men (or vice versa)? For example, are girls more likely to be ticklish behind their knees as you suggest? Or, another example, I once read on yahoo answers (which is always full of tickling discussions!) where one girl insisted that guys are always ticklish on the ribs...which isn't really true of course, although many girls agreed with her...so maybe the ribs are a more ticklish spot on most guys than on most girls?

We need volunteers for a study lol!
 
I confess that I'm ticklish behind my knees but people hardly ever go after them there so it's rarely exploited. I had a girlfriend who was big on going after my knees but she always went after the tops (and was perfectly satisfied with the hysterical responses she got from that hobby.)

Once in college the backs of my knees were vulnerable and someone targeted them and everyone thought my reactions made for great comedy. But generally that area tends to be safe -- unlike the sides, which are always out there and ready to be attacked by whoever's within reach.

My knees are pretty sensitive to any sort of tickling, but the backs of my knees are more ticklish to light tickling, or even feathers [found that out during a session].

The backs of my knees are pure torture when tickled there. I'd even say it's worse than my feet. I had a ler discover that on more than one occasion and then wound up getting tickled on both the back of my knee and foot at the same time while tied face down on the bed.
