It's that time a year again for Bella Bash 2010! At Bella's request, I'd like to let everyone know that reservations can now start being made for the Bash, being held November 12-14 in Columbus, Ohio. As always the group hotel info and reservation name will not be posted in this thread. You will be given this info by request through pm by following the rule below that applies to you. The following info is the latest:
I hope I didn't leave anything out. If you have a question feel free to ask here or pm me or BellaRisa, or any of the vets that you know attend every year and don't panic if you don't get a response for a day or two, as everyone gets a little busy.
**NOTE** Also, as I informed Bella, you may want to keep in mind that the Bash this year falls on a VERY big college football game weekend in Columbus as Ohio State will be hosting Penn State in Columbus. These two schools are only a 6-7 hour drive away from each other and could pack a stadium that held 300,000 people if it was possible. We expect a LOT of people in town that weekend and that means hotels rooms may be scarce. Don't wait until the last minute to book a room somewhere.
See ya all in November!
- Prices 1 Bedroom suites are $79 and 2 Bedroom suites are $129 a night. (These prices will also be honored on the Thursday night for those wishing to come in early.) All suites have full kitchens with stove, fridge/freezer, sink, etc, full living room with fold out couch/bed and one or two bedrooms depending on which you choose and availability. (2 BR also have 2 bathrooms)
Once you book a room, please pm me (Kraziedog) and let me know, as I'm in charge of our group at the hotel. The hotel usually keeps me up to date on this, but every once and a while we get a "Robert Noodlewig reserved a room today under the group" and we are left saying, "Who the frick is Robert Noodlewig?!". 😀
- Registration fee as per Bella is $35 for those staying at the group hotel and $45 for those staying anywhere else.
- For returning guests/vets or those that have been to Bella Bash before, you can pm me if you need the hotel number and reservation name as they won't be posted in this thread.
- If you will be attending Bella Bash for the first time, you MUST pm BellaRisa here on the forum. I'm not allowed to give out hotel info to first timers. This is her gathering, and we will be guests in her home at times (especially Friday and Sunday) and she likes to say hello first to first timers and may have questions for those that will be visiting her home. She doesn't bite...often. 😛 She will give you the hotel info.
- Transportation If you need a lift to OR from the airport, bus station, or train station you need to pm Musicroxmysox here on the forum. She will be making the master list for Bella of those who need transportation at some point over the weekend. Quite a few people (myself included) fly, bus or train in to enjoy the Bash and keeping up with them all becomes quite a chore. On the bright side, we have lots of people with vehicles and there are always friendly people that help out shuttling those who need it, BUT they need to know that you need a ride in advance. This list will be what is used to arrange transportation. Be sure to let Musicroxmysox know if you need a ride, OR if plans change and you no longer need a ride.
