Now I know a lot of people aren't a big fan of feather tickling. After all not everyone is feather ticklish. I however think they're great for light tickles to start off with. Which brings me to my question: what feathers are the best for tickling? You need some that are the right combination of stiff and soft. Goose feathers seem to match that description, so do duck. I've heard people like to use turkey feathers as well. Just wondering if anyone would care to share their thought or experiences with this subject.

I think that is the hard part. It also depends on sensitive the ticklee is. 🙂

I don't know the proper name for them, but the "craft feathers" you can get at hobby shops always do the trick for me.

Stiff turkey feathers are best for soles and fluffy plumes are best for between the toes!

The stiff feather usually work better. But feathers in general don't create much of a tickle reaction.

It depends on the 'lee, but I like to use ostrich feathers for stomach/thigh areas, then some stiffer/short ones for armpits, between the toes, and neck. We have some small ones that are good for breast and clit tickling, they're not too stiff but flexible enough. All of those have gotten good reactions from our 'lees and ourselves. Try any craft or hobby store!

Craft stores are generally great places to find a lot of tickle tools, and they always have feathers of many kinds. Go buy a bunch and try them out. It will all depend on your situation.
