There is this kids show called Between the Lions where a family of lions who live in a library illustrate letter sounds and how to read. There is a Mom, Dad and a couple kids etc.
Anyway....every show there is a little part where the mom and dad do a "cooking" segment. The mother reads a recipe and the Dad in his big chef hat follows it. It helps to illustrate the sound of the day. The joke is that they work their way through a recipe until it comes time to cook the meat (IT's always meat, they are lions you know) and when comes time to cook it, they say, "NAHHH" and eat it raw.
Today's letter was *I*
To prepare the meat....Ribs (notice the letter I)
She says, "Tickle the ribs with a stick."
He repeats her then does it, saying "tickletickletickle" the whole time.
The funny part here is that the mother lion starts getting kind "Hot and bothered" and fans herself and rubs her neck saying "Oooh ooh oooh."
The dad gets a distracted look and veers from the ribs to just focusing on his wife. Then it aburptly ends. LOL
It's not very child like. But it restores my faith in PBS!!The word tickle was all over this episode~! The writer has to be one of us! *hehe*
Soemone might be interested in getting the clip. It's not f/m, f/f, it's L/R...hehe
