curiosities about:
I was born in Lisbon, actually on "bairro da Estrela" on a millitary hospital. My mother had troubles during all the 9 months so it was expected I could born with problems...maybe dead. And my dad as a War vet from Africa arranged things so that if any greatter problems ocurred I´d be killed swiftly if needed (kind of hard to judge this but as my mother had already lost a baby before and was in danger I can understand the point).
Now I actually was born nearly dead, but my mom was ok and te doctors decided to give it a try and after a day or two in intensive cares I made it and.....heyyyyy after all, had no fisical problems 🙂 The exams were all wrong during the 9 months 🙂 Only got a bit early and choked on the....how do you call that thing that as to be cut in english? 🙂
If some of you guys ever come to Portugal you might like to visite the place, "Estrela"(Star in english) is a very nice place with a nice view to the Tagus river.

Hey nenezinho, I think you mean the umbilical cord, which connects the fetus to the placenta. Although, boys are often cut somewhere else after the delivery is completed. 
(OUCH! A very painful memory! Hell I was miffed when the doctor slapped me, I was truly pissed off after the circumcision!) 
Anyway dude, glad ya made it! Just think, our community would have been short one member had things gone wrong.
