Body language attitude and being ticklish/likes being tickled

This is proble a really hard question for some of you to know or even answer.

But is it possible to tell if someone is ticklish or even just likes being tickled by the way thier body language that they give off and thier attitude when they talk to people is etc....

Would that be possible to tell with out any tickling involved right away at least with the person?


This just seemed like an interesting question to ask. so that is why i'm asking it.

I am a very tickish guy. Some people use hand/arm gestures when they talk to others.They may point to or even touch the other person. When talkers like this point closely to my torso etc. my body language is to reteat and/or smile as I anticipate it will tickle. I've been told it's a dead give away that I am ticklish. I also think my reaction is quite typical of other very ticklish poeple.

I find that people who talk a lot about being ticklish, are usually either into tickling, or open minded about it. I work with a girl was talking about it a lot, and as I slowly let her in on my joy of tickling, interesting things started to happen. She's not really into it, but she has no problem with me grabbing a pen, and writing on the bottom of her foot. It tickles her like crazy, and as much as she says she would hate to be in a real "tickling" situations, she sure doesn't seem to mind me tickling her (and I'm married, and she's engaged to someone, which also show's that you can have a non-committal tickling relationship with someone).

I'm not sure how to respond to this . I do know I'm like ericr .My friends will sometimes pretend they are going to tickle me and I get all giggly and start to curl up and stuff.

I have a certain unconscious body language that I use when someone approaches me in a way that "might" include the possibility of being tickled... a person just reaching out to put a hand on my arm might have me thinking of them grabbing my side so I'll shy away.

I do the same thing when someone I'm not intentionally there to play with goes after my foot~I pull it away, yanno, just in case...

I'm very ticklish myself and one of the girls that I work with at the hotel had guessed correctly as to me being ticklish, since she had aquired that knowledge then she took full advantage of it. Of course she has allowed me to tickle her back. In my opinion i think it is definately possible to tell if someone is ticklish. But interms of liking to be tickled I guess the only way to find out is to tickle that person as wait for the reaction

You sometimes just WANT a person you meet to be ticklish- but it is not always the case that they are.
I don't think there is anny way to know this beforehand at all----so............you have just gotta TICKLE them!

My personal experience with sorting out potential ticklees is that they are usually somewhat hyper, nervous and skittish. Sometimes nervous giggling can be a clue. I found this especially true when they laughed at some of my bad jokes!
