I think this argument is unavoidable, as most of our fantasies started since our childhood, watching DID scenes on TV, comics or videogames. Let's talk about our past and present! Mainstream media are still plenty of bondage elements which will drive teenagers forward with passion.

Let's hear your take.

I don't think media necessarily created my desires about bondage ...more like it is just sort of fueled them ... sort of like putting gasoline on a fire. I think I was already born with an interest in those things.

I think watching magicians locking up sexy ladies and tickling their feet added to my tickling desire. From there I think I learned I was much happier as a lee then a ler. I was an awful ler lol.

I do enjoy sexy bondage scenes in mainstream media though. Just done see too many these days.

I feel like modern portrayal of BDSM/bondage is analogous to cartoon portrayals of ripping the wings off a fly. A lot of women I talk to, when tickling and bondage is mentioned, seem to react "tickling? Tied up? With whips and chains? 🤣" and it takes a little explanation that it's more common than they think.

I'd just constantly look up various forms of the word tk in the Dictionary. There were SOME mainstream scenes, one of them being from Calvin and Hobbes book.
