Bondage Tables?

First of all, I do apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I was looking to purchase a bondage-table (one that I could easily break down and store under the bed)

Does anybody know of who may have such a table? I was thinking about purchasing a massage table from E-Bay and didn't know if that would do the job or not

Far better to build them yourself, if you have
a saw, drill, sander, staple gun and paint brush.
It's still cheaper to buy those things and
do it yourself.

I've often wondered if a good cot would do the trick. Then I would also have a place for guests to sleep.

I'd be really careful with something foldable, because
the way ticklees move about, I can easily see an
unexpected fold, which just might ruin any fun you
were having - Some of the designs looked better than
others, but I'd definitely read the reviews.

Massage tables can be great - they're generally sturdy,
and a good height, but they aren't always as comfy
for any kind of long term rest.

Both of these items are kind of skinny, too, and not quite
long enough, often, for restraining bodies in stretched out
positions, although they may be fine for you .

Less expensive options

Unless such a bondage table costs less than a sturdy bed frame, why not shop the latter instead? Buy a well-made bed frame with a headboard and footboard to which you can tie, strap and/or cuff your partner.

Or, would stocks you can attach to your bed's footboard be another less expensive option?

I didn't make all that fuss over a wedding dress and get wailed at by a real-life Jamaican Minister who insisted on "callin' down de blessin's ob de Lawd" during our supposedly civil ceremony to have a partner! We're husband and wife- got legally married Nov. 7th. Forget political correctness- I say call it what it is.

As for attending the workshop, I seem to recall when we wrote the blurb for it that we said it was fine for singles to attend/audit it, but not to participate in the hands-on practice. Ann may have decided otherwise due to space concerns etc. However if it is ok with your significant other, there's nothing to stop you finding a platonic colleague at the opening social to work with you.

I stand happily corrected and actually remember the Thread congratulating you both, but then you will some day learn of the lost mind syndrome as we get older, 🙁 . Nothing works better (for tickling anyway) than is a fold out couch. A couch that folds out into a double bed is sturdy, comfortable, and has a solid metal frame perfect for tying wrists and ankles spread eagle. It can accomodate a pretty good height range depending on the angle of the arms when tied. I'm 6 feet tall and I have a female lee/ler who comes over for sessions once in a while and she's about 5'5 or 5'6 and we both can be tied down and tortured thoroughly ! Then you can fold it up and you have your "Couch that folds out into a guest bed"

Another good option is just learning some basic bondage skills. I've had excellent tickling sessions on beds, couches, futons, chairs, and even on the living room floor. This is probably the most cost-effective method of all, since rope is cheap, and you can do so many different things with it.

Purpose-built bondage furniture is nice for specific kinds of bondage, but it's not at all necessary.

New Years, 2001, I think it was, and I was in the Bay Area at a gathering held by QBWeaver, aka Jan, who is the lovely Den Mother of the entire TMF.

(Might I take this opportunity to say how sorry both Kittentoes and I are that this truly wonderful woman cannot attend NEST this year, and I know everyone who's ever attended NEST and had the privilege of meeting Jan will feel the same way. But she's on holiday during Nest with her new man, and let's all wish good luck to them both).

Anyway, Jan, DVNC and I plus a few other pervo elves, went off to the local hardware store and generous Jan got out her credit card. She then directed us to her toolchest, replete with all sorts of powertools and screwfittings. We started with about a 9' by 5' piece of 1" plywood, to which we attached a padded stocks, which we'd constructed from pine and furniture foam stuffing, and various cleats and pulleys. The whole thing was supported on a couple of premade sawhorses, which we also purchased there.

We created a masterpiece for not-too-much money. And after playtime, during which the lovely Lindyhopper and Hazel treated us to a laughter symphony, we turned the whole thing over, replaced it on the sawhorses, and used it as a dinner table for all the folk at the gathering. A huge roast of beef was the centrepiece, and my apple, lemon and cinnamon dessert crepes, flambeed in brandy, were very well received.

Apparently the table still reposes bulkily in Jan's garage- obviously it's a problem storing it inside the house without questions being asked.

So I reiterate- come to our Nest workshop, and we'll show you all how to be Discreet Deviants.

Making the table was half the fun, and still one of the best parts of that splendid weekend.

I have some friends outside of our community who used a bit of plumbing ingenuity to make an easily collapsable frame (easy if you're comfortable with a plumber's wrench, anyway). 8 clamps on a piping square, and it assembles in about 10 minutes, looks imposing, kept the victim positioned, and was reconfigurable. Pipework like that makes my world a happy place.

A geek in the valley, here, made an "industrial-looking" canopy bedframe, which curtains up to stark interest in his room and works for such things nicely as well. The trick, as he explained it to me, was padding the clamps when "added" to the monster, as the brushed steel was a lovely finish, and is lost when the first cross-grain markings etch in. He fussed with chamois cloth, but found that leather worked wonders (buffered the steel clamps, didn't abraid, was noiseless...).

Lots of ways to do such things. Heck, collapsable x-frames are purchasable.

Webwork for under-mattress riggings can convert any hotel bed. Miss that one. Bad ole airline luggage theft. Should've seen THAT theft report...

Ah what sweet memories of that New Years! Loading my little car with all that lumber in the rain and then doing the build in the Family room was just hysterical. all that Sawdust in the family room... Goodness!

Then... to use it as a multi-functional unit.... Bondage Table/Dining Table was a riot! Just needed a table cloth and place settings to enjoy our feast ala Jonathan. And what an amazing feast that was. The Prime Rib was SO yummy and then the crepes at midnight all lit up.... amazing and absolutely beautiful.

It wasn't that hard to build...just took time. And all the help was wonderful. Made the event even better. But then doing the event over the course of several days was wonderful too. We all got time to get to know each other and that's the best part of this community.


I am sorry I won't be able to make it to NEST but the alternative is so amazing. I'll be in Europe with the man I love... can't get much better than that... oh wait....there's more. I'll be enjoying the best racing in the world at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We'll be at Le Mans and we're taking a side trip to Monaco. To get to go to Le Mans is a life long dream. But to go to Le Mans with this man I've loved forever makes it a dream come true.

So... Enjoy NEST - I know you will. And I'll enjoy our trip so it's a Win/Win situation!

It was a nice table (to be bound to) - quite comfortable, and very solid. And it worked fine as a dinner table too, though I kept putting my drink down on one of the hinges and having to catch it right before it spilled. 😛 But I do remember those crepes!

If you're looking for something cheap and easy, you might consider this Under The Bed Restraint System. It's not terribly versatile (pretty much spreadeagle only, on a bed), but it's quick to get into and out of, and you can strap your 'lee down nice and tight without having to get any knots right. You can also just leave it attached to your bed all the time, and simply tuck the cuffs under the mattress if you don't want anyone to see them. Ready to go any time!

do it yourself

For a long time I always wanted a pair of stocks that I can take a part and stick under my bed. I looked at many websites and porn stores but as you can already see they are really expensive. I just ended up building my own and it works great. It took more time then I thought it would but it still isn't that bad. If you need to know more info about it just pm me and I could show you the ones I built.
