I think we should all boycott any an all WWE programming next week. Don’t buy merchandise, or go to live shows. If you have tickets try to get a refund, if you can’t then reconsider going. Let the WWE know that we fan’s aren’t going to tolerate Pimp Daddy McMahon working his performers to death! If Vince was to see a 0 in the ratings, maybe, just maybe, we can use his greed against him.

DO IT FOR DAVID SMITH, DO IT FOR OWEN HART, AND DO IT FOR EDDIE GUERRERO !

I can understand shock and grief leading to anger. But, this is just plain silly. Yes, Vince pushes the guys. But, the guys are responsible adults who are perfectly capable of sticking up for themselves. If they can't handle the schedule (which is made clear from day one what it will be like), then they should stay/get out of the business. To blame Vince doesn't make sense.

i'm sorry for his death of course but i dont watch anyway.

Just to show I'm a man who cares, I'll boycott the shit for the rest of my life!

And what purpose would this serve? I mean rather besides it being stupid and a dumb idea :manicd:

Simple...

Hit them where it hurts. I stoped watching WWE shows a few weeks back (just before Taboo Tuesday) I am now a dedicated NWA/TNA viewer. People who watch the WWE are adding to the problem. Stop watching the product, stop buying the murch and you tell Vince your not happy in the only way he'll listen $$$! Money talks, bullshit walks. Send him an e-mail, and let him know your boycotting his product, and he'll feel it when the money stops comming in. I stoped watching when Owen Hart died, but fell back in when Vince brought back the nWo. I was sucked in because I wanted to see what McMahon would do with that Gimmick (sp*). Never again, I am now a tried and true TNA'er. The Bret Hart DVD will be my last WWE product, then I am through with them for good.

Drew and Butterfly Wings, your right, it won't do anything. Just like fighting Hitler in WW2, fighting for Civil Rights in the 60's, and and chaising terrorists in the Middle East.Oh wait, the Alies won WWII, and the Civil Rights thing is slowly comming along. I guess it's glad you two weren't around back then to "give up" on fighting for anything. Vince is responcable to share holders now. We hit him in his wallet, and we hit them in their wallets too. They get hit in their wallets and Vince gets in big shit over it.

Some come with me, to the NWA. Where the talent is fresh, the schedule has a little more give, and the Action is Total, and None Stop. Of course you can stay with the Wothless Wrestling Experience, and have it on your concious that your money is going towards killing your other favorit wrestler.

Evil Triumphs When Good Men Do Nothing. Well I can do something, by not suporting Vincent McMahon's slow distruction of my favorite pass time.

tna will never reach the level of the wwe...wwe for life...yeah wwe has it problems...i cant stand triple h and how he is pushed becasue hes married to stephanie...but i m gonna be down with the wwe for life

You can watch raw on mondays smackdown on fridays, and tna saturday, wrestling fun alllllllllllll week.

Eddie Guerrero had heart problems because of his drug use. He worked out all the time on HIS OWN TIME, WWE didnt force him to work out like he did. His heart finally failed, its not WWE's fault, boycotting it wont do shit. In no way is it Vince McMahon's fault.

Come on, now, ST! If you like TNA better, that's fine. But, to blame Vince for what Eddie did to himself is stupidity. It makes no sense. Frankly, I think TNA sucks in comparison. Sure, there are a few decent wrestlers there. But, I have yet to see any real mic skills shown and the ring skills are pretty questionable too. Those who've gone over from the WWE are not doing nearly as well therre. I don't see the attraction.

BTW...just a little bit of information for you. Vince also financially supports TNA. So, if you want to hurt him, you'd better boycott that too. Or does your concern stop where your taste does?

I didn't know that. So it possible then, Vince could control the entire wrestling business if he could, huh??

Btw, boycotting wouldn't be such a bad idea. Forces Vince to search for the magic that brought them success that was lost right after Survivor Series 2001, if you ask me

Wow, it saddens me that you feel that wrestling entertainment is on the same level as World War II and the Civil Rights movement. Considering one was the most important war of the twentieth century, and the other one of the top two social movements in American history, I think you are going way overboard here. You might like wrestling, but you seem to be taking it too serious. I'm going to join Drew and Mac in the disinterested boycott for life. Perhaps you should reconsider your comparisons, because they are full of falicies.

I'm joining Drew, Mac, and Jim in said boycott, though I've never been a fan of wrestling anyways. Get your priorities straight, ST! I like many sports, but saying they're on the same level as historical events is just plain wrong. Talk about making bad analogies! :sowrong:

Life is life...

I look up to the men and women of sports entertainment. Vince McMahon treats them like Circus animals. The mention of Civil rights and WW2 was to point out if people just gave up on a causes or belief then nothing would get done. I know that Eddie's drug problem added to his death but thing about this, if the WWE would take it's house shows down to 2-3 a week, with plus the TV taping, and the PPV thats still 15 show a month per brand. That means 30 show a month total, meaning and averag o a show/day. Their is no need for those guys to be doing 4-5 housshow a week, plus their TV show, + a ppv every other month (per brand). Then you have apearences working out at the gym ect ect.

I didn't know NWA/TNA was owned by McMahon. How did you learn of this, if it's true I'll give up wrestling all together.

I don't like the WWE these days either, unfortunately it's hard to break the habit of watching raw on mondays. However i will say that TNA kicks the WWE's ass and i hope they (TNA) become serious competition to the WWE. I want to see a return to actually wrestling instead of retarded drama filled storylines, so go TNA! Anyways sorry if i used this thread to get off topic but i would boycott wwe except it's hard to not watch raw if nothing else then to see what vince messes up next.

What wrestling show have you been watching? HHH jobbed to.. oh lemme see.. Randy Orton? Batista? Ric Flair in a cage?.. hmm.. every former member of Evolution in fact. Now Chris Benoit? HHH hasn't had the belt since I believe last Wrestlemania when he *jobbed* to Batista to *push another wrestler*..Yeh.. that's a GREAT push he's getting there..

Way ahead of you. I've boycotting wrestling all my life just in case something like this happened. Now that it has I can continue my life long boycott without guilt.
