He vented but he didn't name you. And in my wildest dreams I would have **never** have suspected that you were the one he was discussing. I would have sworn under oath that you were too grown to call names like that. And I would have sworn that, like me, you have way too much to do to spend your precious free time exchanging schoolyard bile with someone born in the mid-'80s. Think about it Kis: you're allowing yourself to fuss in public with someone born AFTER Thriller, Return of the Jedi, and Karma Chameleon. That's just depressing

Just the other day I took the time to write Viper privately and talk to him about why losing your temper on the forum is in poor taste, and disrespecting others with names and foul language just makes *you* look bad and unstable. And how mature adults don't behave that way, especially in public.
Apparently I was wrong.

Firstly I was thrown for a loop with all this and it broadsided me like a greyhound bus in an express lane. That said I agree with you Bella perhaps Kis was not wise in saying anything here. And I understand Vipers feelings too, as no one likes being talked about behind ones back.

My guess is this is an embarassement of error all around and you being of friend of Vipers and Kis as a mod you could have handled it better. What we have here are 2 people flaming now in front of the whole forum and this is not a good thing and frankly your in the middle now if you like it or not.

If your going to blame Kis publicly you need to blame Viper publicly too,(not just in private anymore the cats out the bag now). He is the one that started this thread not Kis. And for people that read his statements here what kind of conclusion do you think they will come to? Its common sense that they would think either Kis or myself may have said these things if they are regulars here. She was not exposing herself she was simply trying to ward off unwanted bad vibes from other members here though she did go about it the wrong way.

Kis is my friend here just as both she and Viper may be to you. And as far as Im concerned she is one of the brightest, most articulate and wonderful of people. None of her opinions are meanspirited or said off the cuff. They are well crafted and well thought out. And thought this is one of those exceptions here where her judement was clouded with resentment and emotions as well as mine is at times. I look up to her opinons. The same as I mostly look up to yours Bella.

This is not a matter of arguing or not arguing with someone from the so called 80s or MTV generation. Hell there are lots of young very bright people here. Just because one is young does not give them a passport to say whatever they want when they want and to hell with the consequence just to be shocking and cool. If one says somthing then they need to live with the damn consquence.

You have a few good points, for which I thank you. Kis is indeed a bright, articulate, and wonderful person. And that's why I posted as I did. When I saw the subject of this thread it caught my attention, and as I read the comments I had *no* idea about whom Viper was speaking. To be blunt, the man has argued with more than one or two people. Like a lot of folks reading this thread, I had absolutely no idea whom he was talking about until that person chose to tell me and the rest of us beyond a shadow of a doubt. My post was not about defending Viper, if you recall I told him exactly what I thought of his behavior in that awful police thread and I pulled no punches. No, for me this was about a beautiful, brilliant, mature lady losing it in public when she could have easily remained anonymous, and this thread would have died quickly as so many threads do. I am NOT defending Viper, far from it. I'll defend no one who insults, calls names, and acts a fool on this forum. I'm only saying that his post did not name Kis, *she named herself.* Justify it however you see fit, but the fact can't be denied.

I know that I've disappointed you as a Mod of Color before for not having the points of view that you feel I should. If you'd care to discuss this further you're welcome to PM me, but I will not continue here.

I'm not saying that I said something I probably shouldn't have. I had a reverse Michael Richards moment and that was not right. But I had that communication in PRIVATE as a PM with another forum member. That should've remained private and not given to another forum member and no one wants to deal with that issue.

I thought that was why the PM funtion existed to take things that shouldn't be on the public forum private. Obviously, that wasn't the case here at all. I'm not going to let that slide and that's why I came forward. I'm not a coward, I don't throw the rock and hide my hand! I'm not going to have someone try to shame me or think they have something over my head; I simply won't tolerate that.

If you (you's hypothetical) want to judge me or tell me how wrong I am, you're certainly within your right to do so. I'll take the hits because I'm an adult and that's what adults do in the real and cyberspace world. But I couldn't sit back and just let this happen-that's just not in my make up. When he called me out pubilcly, he opened the door and he thought I was going to be shamed into sitting back on my heels and being afraid to own up to what I said. Now everyone around here knows that'll never be the case where I'm concerned. I should send him a "thank you" PM for what he did; I'm choosing a higher road and if others around here don't understand, then they just don't.

You had no business doing what you did; you have a hair-trigger temper and don't think before you act. A real adult would've kept this a private issue; my PM box is always open to friends and others. We could've straightened this out on the "low." You're the one who made it a public issue and you thoght you were going to blackmail me into backpeddling. You were horribly mistaken; I stand by my words both privately and publicly and just because you didn't call my name doesn't mean you didn't call me out.
